  2. Left: D44, Right:H233B. Have you priced gears and a locker for the h233b? The Nissan stuff ain't cheap!
  3. Yeah, I have a D44 for my front axle, and this one for my rear, and no it may no be stronger than the H233B but if you look around there are millions of options in parts and what not for a D44 vs. the nissan rear end and parts are also way cheaper for the dana.
  4. Haha, and nice feet at that Yeah I didn't know either till about 3 months ago, it's nice the parts are cheaper than the pathy rear end and there's a million more option of "buildability" with them too!
  5. Here's a quote from a member on another board, sounds like the right thing to me. it's called an "ABS tone ring", which does this "The notched ring runs by a magnet...sending a "tone" through the wires to the ABS computer so it can tell when the wheels lock up. " And Dowser- I asked your questions to a couple other guys I know and I've been told it's either 4:10 or 4:30, open diff. the WMS from what I can find is 59".
  6. Someone said it has something to do with the ABS...
  7. Photos of the gears, pretty clean not a chipped tooth that I could spot. Maybe someone could shed some light on what the hell that electrical connection is going into the top of the pumpkin and what the flywheel looking thing is that the ring is attached to...?
  8. Yeah! Our yards are full of 'em too, just a matter of finding one that has disc brakes.
  9. After my father and I spent 4 hours of dicking around with 8 rusted, crap covered bolts, pulling the ebrake cables out, and tearing apart the driveshaft I am the proud owner of a 93 Rodeo D44 Only thing is it has 2 broken wheel studs
  10. Quite honestly my engine isn't to high on mileage, after 24 years on the road she's only got 179,xxx miles. That being said 24 years ago I'm pretty certain syn. oils weren't anything close to what they are now and i bet weren't highly popular unless you drove an exotic car, which the Pathy definitely isn't.
  11. I'm with ya on this, never again will I be using any kind on syn. oil.
  12. Hell when I did it, it didn't even last 500 miles. And I have no oil leaks! So I guess us Pathy guys can save money on oil and keep our trucks happy!
  13. Anyone else have problems with their Pathy burnin through synthetic oil? A couple months ago I put the suggested 3.75 quarts of the castrol full syn. oil in and it all burnt up, but I put the cheap crap from O'Reilly in and it's been fine since.
  14. Yeah I'll be plating the frame rails for the hoops.
