Drained and refilled... Yes Good time to flush the system and also change the fluid too
-
Your "ok" until that seal blows completely... then your screwed and maybe dead along with other people. Master Cylinders on thier way out are nothing to take lightly... one light you have brakes and the next your explaining to the officer why you did not stop As mentioned above.. not worth it my friend City driving you are constantly applying and releasing the brakes, so the pressure is never allowed to bleed completely off like it is on a long trip.

The bracket is plenty strong to hold it... and I hold the bracket when I untwist the filters (they should not be *that* tight either ) The leakage they are talking about is when you remove the filters. I just stuffed a rag under mine when I did it the firs time. My second oil change is coming up in less than 1500 miles (around two weeks from now) and I will just unbolt the bottom of the bracket and flip the filters over to allow draining. (loosen one bolt and remove the other.. no biggy I have a good 3-4in between the hoses and manifold, it's not an issue for me

I have the Dual and placed it on the passenger side... I just made a bracket out of a peice of metal from Home Depot and a couple bucks worth of nuts/washers/bolts (totaled less than $5 in parts) Plenty of room for the larger PH8A filters that it uses. (in the pic I have a shorter version of the filter - and these are Bosch brand) *I have since trimmed the bracket so it is flush with the relo and have still not re-routed the +Batt. cable

I had the Beldens from Napa and took them back less than a week later... they kept working thier way off of the dist. cap *I switched back to my originals, it's been a couple years now and still have not bought any replacements... something I really do need to do

^^Bit late but better than never I guess

You might check out my prior post about the Bosch and Borg-Warner O2's that I have used... Ahh I'll just quote it here From The Garage cleaning O2 sensor, how too? They both say NTK on them and as noted every ID code on it is the same, they are the same sensors. Now this applies to the TBI'ed (VG30i) Pathys, but may apply to the MPI's (VG30e) too

Along with what 88 said ^^, make sure a 2in body lift will be enough for you in the long run... in other words if you currently even "think" that you like the 3in, then get it now. Otherwise it will cost you way more in the long run (cost of two lifts AND the work to install two lifts)

That really sucks, given the unibody design of the caR50's repairing that will not be cheap... insurance (you had full coverage, right? ) will most likely total it
-
Alright...I've had it with this Import Crap

Have you reindexed the T-bars? That may sold the who issue My original engine was running strong at 290,000 miles and would still be in the truck.. now at 305,600 ...if the crankshaft keys had not rounded the keyways out in the crank. -
Yes, but that is not the Dual, it is the Single. The dual part number is 1213 (this is the one I have)

Rami sent me some vacuum line pics after I did my swap which solved my problems... I'll dig around and see if I still have them It really kind of sucked for me, because my old engine ran great, even after having a broken cam and 290K on it :sniff:

Your a "little" late there
-
Looks like the same thing that happened to mine :sniff:
-
That is looking really good Dean Just to bad that they don't interchange with the WD's
-
Yellow? Only thing I can think of right now that would be yellow is Honda spec'ed PS Fuild... but I cannot see someone filling the tranny with that
-
Every missing Nissan emblem I have seen on late 80's+ Nissan vehicals in wrecking yards, have been held on by tape. But I cannot be certain of yours, sorry
-
The looks your getting are more likely one of three... "What the H*LL is that!!!" from those who do not know. "What a Frucking redneck!" from those who have a slight clue Or " What a waste of a good snorkel" Oh and you might get the occasional looks of admiration from those like us But, no matter what looks you get... Great job Dan

Congrats Everything working right?

Anyone here ditch their spare tire carrier?
RedPath88 replied to BLouisGod's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Throw it up on top for the trip home (if you can) -
As B mentioned, you can probably get a good rack from a wrecker for cheap... and it really does not even have to be a factory one either. The one on mine (see sig pic) is not Nissan and I paid $15 for it.. took only a little modifications to make it fit
-
somwhere over 5yrs
-
Yeah, I have never seen anything different about them.. and I have seen a lot of them in wrecking yards
-
Most people who install a body lift on a pathfinder report that it has little effect on handling, while some say it had more body roll in corners. As with any major modifications to a vehicle you should drive it as if you never have before, after making the changes... just in case it is different And IMO, if you do lift it (and even if you don't ) you might consider going to 31in tires (they do not appear to be in the pic)... just a suggestion
