i dont think niether should have any bend in them. mine didnt/dont. And they are called tie rod ends.

just stack up some 2x4s or 4x4s on a jack and place between the frame and body. theres JUST enough room for the wood. And make sure to do one side at a time. And yes, you will probably crush your rockers if you do what you said.

uhmm, i think its normal. My 93 and my old 91 had the samething. My tcase shifter gets so hot in the summer that i can barely hold the steel arm part of it. If your feeling alot of heat coming in on the inside, check to see if the outter rubber boot for the tcase shifter is still there or torn. And maybe theres a hole under your back seat, or anywhere else.
