if all goes smooth, give yourself 4 hours. And expect every bolt that holds your skidplate to snap and to have to drill new holes to put it back on.
-
big hammer, wrenches and a ratchet set and some cotter pins.

theres a little hole on each hinge, spray some penatrating oil in there. thatll fix it.

heres a suggestion.... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9213

go with a nissan pathfinder. youll love it, and there is some great forums with alot of people to help you with any, if any problems you might have. I beleive there is more to offer in aftermarket/upgrade parts available for the nissan too. IF you were buying a car, then i might say go with a honda, but nissan all the way for the SUV. What years you looking at anyways?

its actually pretty simple, IF you can get the tacks off! i couldnt pull the needles off mine and ended up screwing them up. the cluster itself comes apart pretty easily tho. Also, you'll have to get your original black gauges off, putting the new ones over top of them makes it to thick and the needles will get hung up on em. But is a really simple job if you can get the needles to come off. Also, my gauge cluster has 2 trip odometers (beside each other) those white face gauges only have one trip odometer, (in the center) so i had to cut and fill a little. I wanna do it all over again.. just gotta wait and find a new cluster and not screw it up.

i got some.. i installed them with plans of not using the indaglow crap and cut the wires off for it. the stock dash lights arent bright enuff to glow through the gages, so it only looks good in the day time, and can barely see the numbers on em at night. NOW, i need a new gage cluster, because i messed up and broke the little needle things that sop the tachs from falling down. IF its done right, i think it would look good tho.

replacing the seals is as simple as replacing seals. carefully pull the old ones out, and what i did was used the old seals, doubled them up and used them to push the new seals in, with a lil light tapping of a hammer. For the bolt, its nice to have a friend hold a strap wrench on the pulley while you try to crack it lose.

i wonder if some nice newer black leather with heated seats outta an r50 would fit?

89pathy... so all of the atleast 500 people out there with aftermarket UCAs running their stock 31's on stock wheels are in danger? well damn.. better make that a sticky and warn everyone about what they have installed before driving anywhere again! Remember, the UCAs are meant to lift and be able to fit 32 inch tires, thats only an inch and sometimes 2 inches of difference for most stock guys out there. Im sorry to say this, but i disagree with you on this. I dont mean to carry this on, just dont want you scaring people away from ever buying some UCAs and keeping the stock tires/wheels.. (like i have)

ive personally never heard of filling a frame with anything, doesnt sound like a good idea to me. if your worried about it ever rotting.. just get it oiled sprayed once a year before winter. And wash it out good after wheeling trips. if you dont want any mud in there, put some zee-bart plugs in the holes, maybe even drill some holes in the bottom of the frame to help flush crap outta it. IF anyone else has some ideas.. please share because my frame is getting fixed soon too

hey.. post the extras you have for sale. i think some of us might be curious what kinda toys you have left to part with.
-
id just do her up as much as can be with the IFS. you can get a lotta toys on the pathy for the half the price of a SAS job. If your gonna wheel somewhere where ground clearance is a must.. go buy a cheap jeep and lift that for a few hundred bucks and trailer it with the pathy... just my opinion.

what?

oh and dude... skip the t-bars. save some coin and get the UCAs from roughcountry.com and buy the rear coils from AC. you can find some shocks at 4wheelparts.com + a steering stabilzer for like 140 bucks. Also while you got he body ripped apart and the floor available, nows a good time to install the bodylift (if your going with one).
-
does anyone here wanna mention the steering upgrade that should go along with his new SL, or should we just be quiet about it? :secret:
-
its all yours.. but save it to your puter, i might delete it one day outta my photobucket
