i recommend the CL and the idler arm personally. But for installing, EASY! everything goes on the same way it comes off, which isnt very hard. The rear springs, also VERY easy, i recommend a spring compressor though, rent one from a local parts store. THe front UCAs can get a little tricky if you dont have new mounting rods already attached to the UCA. other than that.. not to hard to do. I havent done a BL yet, so cant tell ya. but ya, you can do everything on your own with some basic tools, im not the handiest guy when doing anything mechanical, but ive done it all myself in no time at all. oh!.. if you go with L&P, you'll be doing some drilling if you dont go with the new IA and PA. And when you cant get your TREs to come out, remember a big hammer and a couple good whacks on the knuckle (not the TRE) will pop em right out.

i got a little news back. The guy i talk with is pretty sure that he can get the rough country UCAs for 150usd. he's checking on shipping prices, he's not sure if that price included the shipping or not. so,, ya.. if people are wanting UCAs from rough country, they should be around the 150 mark. Ill post a thread in the classifieds when all is set in stone.

$2500?? must be pretty bad! hows your frame?

i had a lot of trouble getting mine to pass! might wanna make sure your PC is sucking like it should, and replace the vavle. Also might wanna run a new ground from the MAF sensor. Im sure youve done the plugs cap and rotor? fresh oil change can help, new cat, o2 sensor. I have the manifold leaks too and i passed. i turned my timing WAY down to where she almost couldnt run on her own and thats what made it pass. I have to do it all again in a couple months.. cant wait! and ya, run a lower octane gas and some gas line antifreeze will help too! and be sure to run that engine until she gets good and hot and dont let em shut it off.

i have their rear springs and ya, i got a full 3inches outta em. I dont have the UCA's so i cant say for that part.
-
i havent forgot. Im still working on the guy to get a good deal on the UCAs.
-
ive been in contact with someone who 'says' they can get a deal on some stuff from RoughCountry. If someone is intersted in a price on something, let me know what year and what for and ill see what he offers and ill post back lettin ya know what he says.

ya, i paid 40 bucks for the duty. but that had nothing to do with Rough Country. I dont know why i didnt just ship em to my wifes work in Michigan.

Kn0xville replied to Filthy Luker's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
but now youll have to buy an extra litre just to get the half outta it. sssh -
i got mine from rough country last summer too, paid 135 shipped to canada! Ive heard lotta good about AC's UCAs tho. I havent installed mine YET, but the only thing i dont like is that they didnt come with the 'mounting rods' and they are tubular so they 'LOOK' wimpy. But maybe tubular is better, i dont know.

uhmm, i can just remove my headrest and they fold down nicely in my 93. -
4x4parts.com for one place.
-
just get a bolt extracter. they work wonders.
-
could be your shocks, or your UCA's. either way, have someone bounce your truck up and down while you spray the crap outta the bushings with WD-40.

shock adjustment switch for sport to casual driving? -
hers a few links, just do the math.. and yes all yor questions have been covered btw. AC COILS. L&P STEERING RC UCA's 4WHEELPARTS SHOCKS.
-
clunking noise could just be your steering stops.. put some grease on them. I bought my rear springs from 4x4parts.com im very happy with them. and if you plan to wheel your pathy count on updating your steering very soon, specialy if your gonna run bigger tires, i bought my steering upgrade from L&P performance, and im also very happy with it too.

then i suggest some new UCA's from roughcountry.com. might not be as strong as others, but will do the trick, specially for someone on a tight budget. Call em up and ask for the price on just the UCA's, dont tell them they are for a pathy or they wont warrenty them. 1-800-222-7023. Also if your doing the UCA's might wanna do your upper balljoints too. And your stock shocks will work find with the lift. Whats your plans to lift the rear end?
-
how much you looking to lift? you can crank the t-bars and get about 1 1/2 inches without the UCA's. With the UCA's you'll get about 3inchs. The UCA's dont lift the truck, the t-bars do, the UCA's just allow it to 'align' properly. What yr pathy you have? I got my UCA's for my 93 pathy from roughcountry.com for $125. Made for a hardbody, but work on the pathy.

got mine at AC.

theres a good chance you bent some valves. how many times did yo try an restart it? did it run for a second or 2 or 3 after it went? theres a few things that could lead to all valves being bent or just a couple. But most likely some are bent... rip her apart and take a look i guess.. im sure somebody here has more info on what to do, but thats my 2 cents. and sorry to hear. :sniff:

i dont think thats possible. Its pretty much right dead center directly underneath that thing. So, im thinking theres only one way to do it.

Maybe the music is so bad over in Austrailia that they just dont bother with speakers.
