take some pictures of the affected areas and explain whats goin on and most likely someone will be able to help $700 from a dealer........ my goodness, you can buy a lot of parts for that sort of money, sounds like they rippn you off something bad

manual hubs dont fail or have a mind of there own they dont take two or three shaft turns to engauge more reliability with manuals

another thought along the pinging line is ignition timing, since one is the result of the other ie the further advanced your timing is the easier an engine will ping under load, try knocking your timing back 5 degress. you get less mpg and less power but if you dont control pinging you will end up with big holes in your pistons as stated above higher octane fuel helps HEAPs, my pathy has a carby motor and i run premium fuel to help stop pinging, dont get any other benefits like more power or mpg but the pinging is minimalised

if you think its the ecu easyest thing to do is to go to a wrecker and grab another one (get one on the cheap in other words) have you taken the distributor cap right off and check for water in there?

they only advantage is that on a 15x8 rim you are less likely to brake the 'bead' if you air down for some wheeln i run 15x8 for my 31x10.5, i think there good but the money you will spend on new rims probably really isnt worth it

no, you will need to do a suspension or body lift

Ross?? as in Ross Higgins i tried to reply to your email, but what ever i do it wont go i will pm you the info on the subject of diffs does your transaxle numbe have hg48 in it? have you read this, its worth the read through to the end (if you can be bothered) read me if it does we are a rare bread, which means theres other stuff out there easily available ie 4.6 and 4.3 - which are the normal ratios for pathys/terranos as for 4.1's gq patrols have 4.1's standard & there diffs are a c200 - which there is a slim chance would work

umm i probably woundnt try it myself (thats big for me to say that...) you should obviosly have the arms out of the vehicle, so take them to a 'fitter & turner' and get them to press the bushes in. they will have the right press and will do it easy if you do it with a vice you run the chance of damaging the bushes what ever you do DONT take it to a stealer unless you wanna get ripped

i would also say throw out bearing, the day after i got my path my clutch & throw out bearing shagged it self so the mechanic i brought the path form drove an hour to come get me then fixed my car for cost of new parts only - new clutch, pressure plate & throw out bearing. anyways the point of my comment...... when my path stopped i was left with out drive - i could rev and rev but no drive if it does it again check it out.

sway bar disconnects work usually via a pin, the bar stays in the vehicle at all times, it works by 'disconnecting' the control arms that atach to the chassis. there good but usually cost way more than they are worth, besides its very easy to build your own. or even better simply remove sway bars, chuck them in the corner of your garage and go flex up a storm as for the oil kit - , i usually find oil filters if done correctly will unscrew by hand, so i dont have a problem but then again i do have a z24 so i have stacks of room in my engine bay
