  1. kittens are cute . . . then they turn into cats
  2. thanks guys, i'll try not to beat on it too much then.
  3. i've got a question. my rear sway bar has had one of it's linkages broken a month ago 4x4'ing. i know that this gives me more flex offroad, but it is causing the body to roll big time and Im not sure if this is gonna cause my shocks to be overworked and decrease their lifespan as i have just installed them. does anyone know this?? 88', i'm guessing you do??
  4. i filled up my 4 cyl. for about $35 (it's a small tank), and it got me 300km's barely of city driving. and that's driving like a granny (i can't afford to drive hard).
  5. you mean to tell me diesel is more expensive there??? that's wierd. here gas is at 99.9 a litre, no one wants to be the first to push it over 1.00
  6. 88', can't tell if that guy is mad and throwing the dog or pissed off because the dog is just flying in the air. either way, funny!! yeehaw's right!! be free to admit you're a canucks fan man!!!! one of these years they'll get their stuff together and win a cup. but, i'm glad calgary's in the final and hope they win, at least we could say we lost to the champions. for now though, www.flamesgirls.com (it's adult stuff)
  7. hey canucklehead, you a big canucks fan eh??? are you from vancouver area?? The dog on the left is my parents 10 yr old border collie. the puppy is mine, he's half german sheppard and half border collie. he was 3 mos. in the pic and is now 1 1/2, and twice the size of the other dog.
  8. my 4 cyl. is a hybrid between fuel injection and carburetor
  9. you're saying that there's only 15 hp difference between the 4 cyl. and v6??? then there must be something majorly wrong with mine because it is the most gutless vehicle i've ever driven
  10. i checked the obvious, no cracks, holes, or loose wires. but everyone i mention it to says it seems like a vacuum problem. one of these days when i get some $$$ im gonna take it in and get it tuned up properly
  11. does anyone have any photos or diagrams of the vacuum hose setup for the z24 motor?? i looked in my haynes repair manual but it mentions hoses once or twice. something's wierd with the way mine's running and i think it's a vacuum hose, but im not sure since i have nothing to go off of
  12. yeah, i dunno how informed he was. he had a 87 4runner and said the same thing happened to him and he had it dyno'ed and that was what it showed up as. he's a heavy duty mechanic and knows way more about vehicles than i do anyways
  13. haha, no worries. guess i'll just dream about owning a v6 for now
  14. my wife's locked my keys in our truck once but i was able to pry open the tiny window behind the driver side door (it's a 2 dr). a week ago i was up for work earlier than usual and decided to start the truck while i was getting ready . . . also decided to lock the doors afterwards. it took half an hour but me and three other guys were able to pull the door back enough to slide a coat hanger down between the door and body to jimmy the lock. my first offroad experience with me actually driving was about 4 years ago in my old car (1986 BMW 325). i was going for a drive on a dirt road with my bro and saw a steep, challenging hill. he had a jeep at the time and tried to convince me that i couldnt make it up with my rear wheel drive car because his jeep woulda needed 4 hi to do it and that i'd high center the car. i did it anyways, made it up with out the tires spinning once. the way down was tougher, bottomed out a few times. but after that i knew i was meant for a truck.
