If I could just add about the air bumpers....if you aren't going to have a nice air compressor to keep the bumpers up to pressure...I'd suggest heading over to walmart. They have 7 gallon portable air tanks for 29.99. I got one for the dunes and it aired up all 4 tires from 10psi to 20-25psi or so for the drive to camp....getting another sooner or later too.. I just wanted to give you the option, cause I personally don't see any benefit in such a small air tank...only possible accidents happening..

Go with a lift of some sort, as you know no doubt, a small one will make a big diff off road, and although I don't have any experience with the r51's, I have seen em and they seem nice and stout, nothing a 2" lift would hinder... I say go with the calmini 5" suspension lift.....but thats just me! I practically DD my 91 (i know, they are different) on 3" BL 3" SL and 33's, and with your experience with vehicles, I think you can handle it That lift looks like a pretty simple option if your not looking for anything extreme, and it would def be an improvement over stock (says you can fit 32.8x11.5) for i'm assuming not a huge price

I'd check your fuses, specifically your fuel pump....cause it kinda sounds like something with the fuel delivery....

I know I got the same deal, it will trickle slightly if I hold it for a while, but I can EASILY hear it pumping....I just assumed it clogged after however many years of no use.. Holla if you fix it

does it look like that KMA rear bumper is a slightly diff shape than the one on the site? Maybe its just me, but perhaps they changed the design slightly?

I really like the interior color/style compared to mine... <_< 500 bucks in michigan will get you a rusted out pathy with no motor and the rear frame completely missing...

I use rainx in my malibu and it leaves that tiny film of water bubbling in most conditions, but my wipers need replacing...whereas the pathy I use it and it works wonders...and those wipers are much better....

x2 detailed pics would be nice....like how close it tucks into the body or how far it comes out...

OMG.... how did you get a $100 gc to kma?? Yeah, thats what I was thinking...just get the cheapest version maybe with 1 or 2 cheap additions, (I too have the factory carrier and no desire of replacing it..)

Im hoping on ordering their multicarrier rear bumper for 250 (no extras) this summer......and hopefully have better results than others..

you could try some cheapo speakers to try it out, I got "roadmaster" product from meijers for 23 bucks for my malibu, and they sound pretty good if I say so myself...

don't take it to a shop....they will charge you big bucks for minimal work :S

This is a "budget shock" that you can get @ autozone from gabriel that is only 17 bucks....this is the size and stuff if your lifted and want good flex, I dunno how well it would work for you, but in theory it is a perfect solution. it may also be linkage in your gear selector if its an auto, or something similar....i thought I hydrolocked my engine cause I shut it down in R accidentally, then it wouldn't crank..

personally, living in the rust/salt area...I can't get my idler arm bolts off, and the shop had said the TRE's were a bear... Just to give you an idea, Im a 260lb guy, with a 24" or so breaker bar, and me LITERALLY putting my entire weight on the bar and jumping on it couldn't get it to budge...hopefully the shop can get it off D:
