auto isn't all that bad.. I'd love a 5 speed if I was city driver for control of RPMs with my 33's personally, but I like wheeling w/a auto vs manual, especially with such a small engine and all the hill climbs in my local 4x4'ing... or you COULD convert one..

I think someone said a sbc 350 is an easy swap...but don't quote me on it

Im going to agree w/ master cylinder, just looked @ mine and it looks like its been leaking (explains why im halway between max/full after 3 months of filling it)

the adapter I just bought last night to go from the MAF to a cone filter is a 3" tube adapter...its intended to be used for putting tube bolted to an air outlet, but it works all the same

replace the cv and keep/rebuild the old as a spare

i think my bfg's are fairly quiet....but not as quiet as my stock size michelin highway tires.. I had a bearing issue in my malibu which was fairly obvious, although I could have mistaken it for wheel noise.....as it got louder/higher pitch as I sped up... If it starts doing it around 20-30 mph I think it may be a bearing issue, but if its only @ highway speeds I don't think you have anything to worry bout.

no, its a 6 dollar adapter that goes from your MAF to a cone filter fitting, then you buy a filter for around 20-25 bucks, and you got a 30 dollar WAI

or you can do what im doing this week, buy the adapter from autozone for 6 bucks and a cone filter, bolt it on and get some benefit (and the sound) for cheap

I definately see atleast a changing of the fluid, if not a cooler also... Mine is in the same boat (just the fluid color) and I'm preparing to change it out..

Possibly IIRC the kit is 210 w/o shocks, 270 with the hydro (comfy) shocks, and something like 300 or so with the nitro (cement truck) shocks.

rough country are the superlift @ a portion of the price... I paid full price for the entire kit, but only really had to pay 210 cause I didn't buy shocks and got it from a private 4x4 shop....easy peasy

Honestly, if your considering swapping frames, why not consider just rebuilding that section? Just some box steel and effort and it would be good for another 20 years vs something that has the same problem.

do something before your brake lights don't work and you have a phantom rear defrost! I stuffed a handful of papertowels down there....they have kind frozen over making a half decent block
