  1. My 88 has the same setup, though only cranked not reindexed, and it has the same front and rear measurements as your's.
  2. Did "Dirt" have any specific vehicles besides Subarus?
  3. Some, especially for the front, if you just replace the stock "slash sheild" with something stronger, you can use the same mount points. For the others, you'll want to make some sort of U mount to bolt around a crossmember, or make a mount bracket to weld to the crossmember that the skid can bolt to.
  4. For AC's diff skid, they basically took sheet metal, bent it and exhaust clamps to hold it in place.
  5. You think finding parts, and their price tag sucks on a Nissan.... Rovers are like a filly in the Kentuky Derby; run great till something breaks and you have to shoot it.
  6. No latch removal, just the plastic panel on the inside of the hatch.
  7. Did you use the odo or a GPS to check the difference?
  8. My fix was to just pull the plug on the hatch sensor. Same end, different means.
  9. Only issue I had heard about was when someone used the ARB plastic air tubing with CO2 to actuate the locker. The CO2 made the plastic brittle and it burst. They fixed it by running flexible copper tubing in place of the plastic.
  10. Add a garage with a light onto the igloo
  11. My point was you have stock, mine are aftermarket, Rockcrawlers, with a different offset. If you stay stock you should be OK, I doubt your tread is past the fenders, the sidewall bulge might be but that isn't what the cop is looking at. Mine actually stick out past the stock flares (I have flares on the 93, used to have those wheels and tires on it).
  12. With the stock wheels you'll be fine. My 88's wheel/tires stick out almost 3" past the fenders.
  13. What are you using in addition to the stock system? Anything that requires a sock kinda scares me....
  14. Here is a list up to 96 of Manual trannys: http://www.drivetrain.com/transmanualrebuildkit.html#NISSAN
  15. BTW, here is an auto tranny list for all Nissans: http://transtec.com/selector_guide/NissanDatsun.htm
  16. They were more just the dregs of the 89 production, but with their build date they were classified as 90s. I think the factories threw togeter whatever they still had from the 89 run just to get rid of the 2dr bodies.
  17. What 6 speed? If it was behind a VG class motor, it ought to swap in just fine.
  18. If both are 2dr then everything should swap, besides maybe a few engine parts since the 90 should be MPI rather than TBI. If the 90 is 4dr and you made a typo (most 90s are 4 dr) than everything from the B pillar forward will swap body wise, along with tailgate/hatch, bumper and tire carrier. Most of the interior aside from the side panels on the 88/rear door panels 90 would be the same.
  19. Glad my 88 doesn't have an idiot light, it would be flashing all the way down the trails!
  20. Not sure about later production, but IIRC earlier R50s even used the same link and coil mounts. As for trannys, if it is a VG block engine, the tranny will work on our WDs. The VH also uses the same tranny IIRC, why some people were buying Q45s, to steal the 4.5L V8s out of.
  21. Yeah, it is a newer decoder, but the HB and Pathy both were D1. As for years; J=88, K=89,.... Also, the "Misc." are going to be a little different for 95 and older.
