  1. I took a hacksaw and cut across the mushroomed end on the pins, then used a large punch and a BFH and pounded them out, took a total of maybe 30 min to remove both pins. As for the running boards, just get rid of them completely
  2. Yeah, that's about the biggest con to it, everything else is good
  3. Wonder if those would help the performance of these: If you haven't seen this you'll die laughing, if you have, you'll laugh all over again!
  4. Just hope no one takes too much intrest in your ladies and catches ya :X
  5. I think I paid like $130 for my class 3 at U-Haul. If nothing else it makes a nice guard for the gas tank .
  6. :o I bent one (been driving on it for over a year) but mine isn't that bent up, more of a gentle arc.
  7. From what I have heard hydraulic and our power steering systems don't get along too well.
  8. :contract: VERY HEAVY! I set it in the cargo area and the truck dropped at least an inch.
  9. Saw those here at Sam's, they are 8k electrics. Was tempted to buy one, buy the wife shot that down :o
  10. Belive me, you don't want 6" C, at least not like the one I started to build. Got it cut to length and ditched that idea. Of course I was using 1/4" thick C, nearly 1/2" in the corners .
  11. Someone on AC just did a swap of a Frontier console into their HB. Link
  12. $515 for one that is chopped up and used without a winch mount in it
  13. I know the later model LEs didn't have flares stock.
  14. It's not that heavy you wimps. Open the gate, pull the 4 screws from the mounts, then close the gate and remove the others. Then just grab the top and unlatch it.
  15. could always get one of the rock shaped hide-a-keys and lodge it in somewhere
  16. I have 2 just hangin out on my 88 (removed the rear bar left the links). I'll see if I can remove one for ya if you like?
  17. I think they used the same type as on our VG30e, it actually bolts into the intake.
  18. here is a how to writeup I found: http://faculty.ccp.edu/faculty/dreed/Campingart/nistail/
  19. You can change out the pins and bushings in the hinges. The original pins need the rounded end cut off, then you tap them out, pop the bushings out and reassemble. Did mine and fixed the rattle/ wobble in mine.
  20. I think he might be on AC's boards, Mooresville sounds framiliar.
  21. I'd say $91 is good. BTW if anyone needs any let me know, I have 2 sets!
  22. WARNING PB Blast the hell outa those seat bolts on the rear seats and the back rails of the front seats, the will snap VERY easily. All of these bolts go through the floor and are exposed underneath the truck so they get all rusty and frozen and weakened. :contract:
  23. I've heard nothing but good things about the Gorillas. Sure you got the right thread pitch for the Nissan?
