Your 32s look different then others pics. The 9448 gives you 4" of lift but you have 2" lift springs in the front? Did you use spacers and do a sfd? Not trying to put words in anyone’s mouth, but I think that might have been a typo because I believe Micah originally installed the 9447 not the 9448. Unless he switched spring set ups again. Don't quite sit in the bottom cup flat but i think they will settle down. Truck drives like a dream and when i hit bumps it doesn't get thrown around anymore. I can also load my truck down now and not have it bottoming out on a dirt road. Edited April 26, 2019 by bertrenolds

micahfelker
Yep Tyler’s right, it’s not a typo. Hence the new post with new measurements. I’ve got 9448’s in the back now, ac’s with a .5” spacer up front. No wheel spacers. My wheels are American racing 16x7 with 4” backspacing I got off a 4Runner. They still sit inside of the fender flares which is awesome so I’m not chucking rocks at my paint which is nice I’m not a huge fan of the stanced look with wheel spacers

While I really like the stock LE wheels, I don’t want to remove my fenders & I don’t want the wheel to stick out past the fender - I like driving with windows open & don’t need to eat the dirt, plus it’s miserable on a camping trip when you lean up against a filthy truck. @02_Pathy (man, I just can’t get that to link) did a fantastic fender trim job that looks stock for all intents & purposes but his truck still gets pretty painted with mud.

I personally like the wide stance look, but it definitely results in a lot of junk getting thrown down the side of the truck. I have a pretty wide stance past the fenders and I’ve just kind of gotten used to always looking like I just drove through a mud pit even if I just went through a puddle at wal mart! Lol. 1
Bax03SE
This is an old pic so it doesn’t show the current height of the truck, but the stance is the same. This is with 16x8 rims with 4.26 inch backspacing, and a 1.5 inch wheel spacer, so effectively 16x8 with 2.75 inch total backspacing. Bax03SE
Figured I’d update this to include my current set up. Currently running 9449’s in back with a custom spring perch bolted on top of the stock perch for an extra 1.5 inches of lift. Ground to fender lip measurements are with 285/75/16 tires.Front measurement:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wish we had an alternative for the front spings! AC cost me a bit over $400CND when all was said and done. Anyways, worth it! Thanks for the great discovery OP! Tomek I have finally got all my parts together and wanted to ask if with this setup did you have to extend your brake lines? I want to make sure that I have everything I need before I put it all on since this is my daily. Thanks

The longer shocks are what will stretch your brake lines, as they are the main limiting factor in axle droop. You should get longer shocks with your lift, the common 5100’s are 26”, but me, @02_Pathy and @micahfelker are on the 29.7” 5100’s and all use or are going to use (Micah) extended brake lines.

PS - I did not need the camber bolts either (which cost me a fortune), so I anyone wants to buy the 4, I'll give you a good deal. mandersen8
On 3/15/2019 at 1:42 PM, 02_Pathy said: Alright so to get this thread back on topic, as a recap I have the LR 9449's on and just put some Bilstein 33-185569 5125 shocks on the rear because they offered more travel as my old shocks (Bilstein 33-185552 5125's) were too short now. After a quick test up in the hills they weren't too long! Coils stayed put and didnt come out of the perch or were loose. I gained more articulation with the new shocks. Also note I still have the sway bar connected and extended brake lines. The breather tube still needs to be extended. So these shocks work with these coils, I also might add a 1 inch bumpstop on the bottom spring perch just to be safe. The snow picture is the same spot with the old shocks and new coils, the tire did come up from the ground. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk Hey what lift do you have on your Pathy? I am running 6" and looking for a good set of rear shock and looking at the ones you have.
