statikuz
I've never heard of a Nissan OEM winch. Maybe in their industrial division [forklifts, etc.] but not as far as vehicles went...?

Pathy-toys
Our 'finder had a factory winch (actually said Nissan). When we got it it was burnt out so I sold it to a guy at work for 50 bucks. He rebuilt it and runs it on his hardbody.
94 Pathy
Wouldn't that be a nice option for the newer Frontiers, Pathy's, and Titans? Small for off-roading, but still a beautiful feature to have come with the vehicle.

Slartibartfast
Holy thread necro! I wonder how many of these Nissan actually made.
Inyourface1650
They probably weren't 4000lbs but 6000lbs sounds about right. You want 1.5x vehicle weight for your winch. Now typically that's loaded though.... My pathfinder is 4000lbs empty figure 5000lbs loaded.... Only a 7500lb winch. I have a army recovery manual.... And that's why they recommend. Uphill in mud 2x vehicle weight in pulling power is recommended
unccpathfinder
Depends on how deep in the mud your stuck...full tire under mud is like 4x IIRC

Never have I seen a single Hardbody with any of those options/accessories, in real life that is. A Hardbody down the street used to have Bosch type fogs. Edited January 31, 2013 by 92Path_68CJ
