  10. I checked the distro cap and Maf sensor again nothing changed. I was told to check the engine temp sensor as this will act like a choke any thoughts on this? Also I forgot to mention that the car idle fine it only bogs down when when I give it gas at the begining of my drive.
  11. My pathy hesitates to accelerate on hot humid days. Once I get the pathy going it goes just fine and idles well at lights and takes off fine. but on that first start it acts like it is going to stall and I have to let it move itself. I've checked the Maf ground and cleaned the throttle body and air filter. On cooler days I don't have this problem. I'm thinking vapor lock? Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas if this is the issue or how to fix it.

  16. Hello All- It's been a while since I've been on the forum. My pathfinder has been in hibernation for close to three years with minimal starts and runs. I just drove it for a couple hours and shockingly no problems it started right up and drove. Any suggestions on things I should check before I start driving it more. I will be doing an oil change and a tune up later on (I don't think it needs it). Also I remember seeing a picture where it had all the grease nipples on the pathfinder highlighted and I cannot find that does anyone have that. Thanks, D
  17. I was driving to work last Thursday when my pathfinder died while i was coasting at about 30mph. i did not know till i reached the a curve and found that my steering was hard. I pulled over started it back up reved it and let it idle and it was fine. Then today Monday it happened on my way back from work. I restarted it and it was fine. It has not been idling rough at all and i made a long trip over the weekend no probs and i have re-fueled since the first incident. It has been humid and I have about 199,700 miles on her. I was thinking vapor lock or something but she doesn't idle bad. If you have any ideals let me know
