Yeah I might just stack the 2 sets on top of eachother for 2" of lift, combined with AC should be 4" of total suspension lift..... just joking!!

There was a local Nissan guy selling an Xterra supercharger.... Xterra (VG33E) supercharger Here's an email reply he sent me: "that (Xterra)blower will bolt up to any VG block with that (Xterra) upper plenum i have for sale w/it, all VG upper plenums bolt to lower manifolds..most VG30 guys i know swap to your plenum its just a matter of your pulley and tensioner. you would need to buy a VG33ER crank pulley (im guessing they're different, call nissan to find out) and belt tensioner. from there it would be intake to pass CA emmisions (unless you're smart like me and smog in an exempt county..) and an ECU retune. im not to sure about injector size to be honest but i have some bosch 400 something CC injectors i could toss in as i dont really need em anymore. they set me back 100 bucks but eh, its just collecting dust now as far as bottom end goes, im sure the ER uses lower compression pistons to cut back on detonation, but really the compression ratio is already fairly low on a VG motor, not to mention that that blower doesnt really push a whole hell of a lot of air. i have this listed on 2 frontier forums in the for sale sections if you want to see how its setup...or you could swing by and have a look. i disassymbled it and took it off the motor stand this weekend but it only takes a few minutes to put back together just to see how it looks.. and most 'nissan board guys' are freakin pin heads that love bolt on crap and wouldnt know a valve seal from a valve stem! lol attached are some photos. obviously that wouldnt work with the throttle body right off the blower as you have other intake components, that was just there for looks. i actually made a 2.5" OD adapter to bolt on some intake piping for whatever your application is. 99 Pathy with Factory Remanufactured Tranny Has A Shift Pause!?!
FUELER replied to OE812's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Well I was testing this today.... it's actually between 1 and 2 seconds on mine... but regardless, it's still a lot longer than some other cars.... My girlfriend is the type that will hit the gas instantly, then 2 seconds later when it catches, the car will jerk very hard and my blood starts boiling.... I explain what she needs to do but she doesn't care and forgets.... yet she doesn't understand why her HONDA ACCORD keeps breaking down! -
I'll take the deal, but instead of splitting shipping, could you hook up a (single) set of hardware?? Or split shipping, whatever it doesn't matter to me... PS remember I ordered 2 sets Thanks Tyler

99 Pathy with Factory Remanufactured Tranny Has A Shift Pause!?!
FUELER replied to OE812's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
My 1999.5 QX4 (with same VG33 engine) also takes a pause when switching from reverse to drive, or vice versa. Mine has always done that... but I know what you mean, if you don't wait, it will jolt you once the tranmission engages, and does not feel like it's good for the tranny... I've gotten used to it. If i'm doing a maneuver somewhere in a busy street that requires switching from drive the reverse (tight u-turn for example) then the people i'm blocking just have to wait the extra 2 seconds... They probably think i'm a careless driver but really i'm just trying not to kill my auto transmission. -
3.3L overheats when idling but not moving - HELP!
FUELER replied to FUELER's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Oh my gosh I never checked the fan... although I think its on the right way. I'll check. -
VG33 in a 99 QX4 Long story short: I had a maintenance service done, parts related to cooling included water pump, thermostat, fresh coolant, and new hoses. A few months after, I started noticing that my temp needle would go up with engine idling, and not moving. Needle moves up past 50% after 5-10 minutes and can easily reach 90% if idling on a hot day for over 10 mins. Temp needle goes back down when I get moving. I have replaced the fan clutch once I realized this, and I can tell that it's definitely grabbing hard and the fan is pushing air hard whenever it's running hot. I replaced with a TORQFLO autozone fan clutch. Could this be the result of a bad thermostat? Bad fan clutch from autozone? All ideas are appreciated...

My 99.5 uses rotors just over 11" i'll go get the part number from my garage in a bit

The best way is to take a heat gun and mold the plastics to acommodate for the tires. I got my 32" BFG's in Mexico and on stock suspension, it was rubbing HORRIBLY just driving striaght down the street, we (me and the Mexican tire guys) just took some blades and started chopping away. Now half my wheel wells are gone but it doesnt rub. The problem is the rear of my fog lights are exposed to mud and dirt and water now. i recomend heat gun.

blem: 1992 Nissan Pathfinder, 4WD, manual, 3.0L (WG30E?) engine. Girlfriends. The oil pan is 2-piece construction and whether because of shoddy work at the factory or because of road debris or some other cause, paint was chipped near a welded seam on the oil pan and it has rusted through. I've found and thought I fixed one hole, there is at least one more and it's in such a spot that I can only describe it as "a design flaw." Question: Is it possible to remove the oil pan without pulling the motor or the flywheel and everything behind it? Can I get enough crossmember clearance by loosening the motor mounts and raising the engine up against the under side of the body? As for the repair, I'll JB Weld-and-POR-15 it if I can't get the pan off, I own a Hobart Handler and "I can fix it" if I can get the pan off. No snarky comments on welding either, I've been welding professionally for over 20 years. Pan off is the preferred fix for all the obvious reasons but shops and tools are an issue, it has to be a 1-day fix else neighbors and landlord will insist it goes to a paid mechanic somewhere, damn their property values.

If it happened in Canada, then it is a felony. They are extremely strict. I can't even visit Canada for the next four and a half years because I have a misdemeanor DUI in CA, which in Canada is a felony and therefore an excludable offense under the Immigration Act. They run a quick background check at the border.

The Mac is not happy.

That is absolutely bad ass. I'd be happy with one ARB locker, it must be titties to have 2. That is such an important piece of equipment... 100% of the time I get stuck is due to open differentials.
-
Xplorx4, just noticed that you have dual ARB in your signature. Are you fully locked?

I'll elaborate It sounds right that you experience this from your heavier tires. I had the same thing when I swapped to 265/75/16 BFG all terrains. All the added rolling resistance makes your car rev up and shift way high like it's going up an eternal hill (but you're really on flat ground). Lighten your right foot: let off the gas pedal a bit, don't accelerate too rapidly. You'll notice that when you drive like a grandma, the tranny will shift more smoothly. Regear: If you have the 4.3's, you could help by swapping to the 4.6 That's all your choices for regearing

Hey Runnerman, are you still making skid plates for R50s? If so, could you email me the prices for front skid, possibly middle, and shipping to san diego CA 92111 Chimowicz@gmail.com Thanks

Good info Dean. As far as the warn hubs - if you have 4x4 on a knob and a huge cupholder next to the shifter then you can't get them. If your 4x4 is on a big shifter stick and you dont have the huge cupholder, then you can get the warn hubs i'm 99% sure that the 97 QX4 has the big manual stick for 4x4 and no huge cupholder - you should be fine with the hubs.

hahah no not the whole thing to the dome. You crazy. I just mean its the best method to smoke. The one in that video would be for like 2 or 3 people
-
these are the kind of blunts I smoke (music video)
-
In my case, I don't want to drench my blunt, but I use my ashtray! But yeah its nice to crack the windows in the rain
-
haha, yeah it seems that my QX4 has about the same aerodynamics as a brick.... But it is well designed for minimal wind noise.... i made the mistake of installing window visors, unreal how much noise they add.
-
Looked at some old pics.... this was actually my QX4's first trip to Baja, one month after I got her! i think i can see the wind action in this pic. ahhh.... the days when my QX4 was still fresh and unmolested.....
