Crazy Australians put a Holden (Pontiac GTO) supercharger on a VG33 Pathfinder The car is also running on LPG Notice the different corner lights with clear reflector. And the sidemarkers in the fenders. Those side mirrors are hideous. Anyways, makes me consider a Frontier s/c for mine. I can pick up a complete one for $450 should I do it? Oh and originall found at: http://pcoa.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2498

-
damn wish i saw that email address earlier, i already bought the AC skid waiting for arrival
-
I dont know about hers but i'd have to guess right in the middle... where its most susceptible.... Keep us updated on the SAS - and make lots of notes! You could sell an instruction manual on how to SAS an R50!

the junkyards around my house sell them $50 each (OEM) I dont like ebay replacement lights, they tend to fade and the red turns to pink

I have a set of front Brembo brake rotors for R50, as well as a pair of Hawk HPS street pads for R50 for sale Asking $300 shipped They are on a 2 month backorder nationwide - BUT I GOT EM!
-
Not at first! When I pulled out the tire shop, it was rubbing terribly on the smallest bumps even just going straight! The few turns i did were a nightmare. I pulled right back in to the shop and me and some mexicans started hacking up the fenderwells.... all the mudflaps went in the trash.... we finally got it to be driveable but still lightly rubbing on turns and bumps. Then I did another full day of trimming... hollowed out the rear fender flares and attached them with zip ties.... baja style Now im back to 31's and i have hacked fenders for no reason LOL!

OUCH!!! Now thats some real hydrolock! i would think a ricer intake would help since the intake opening is so much higher VS stock! Maybe thats why you were sellin that intake so cheap! LOL Hey tyler did u get my PM about the compressor
-
Oh gosh now hes mad!!
-
$380 usd + shipping If someone sunk an R50 deep enough to actually need a snorkel, youre gonna have more problems than hydrolocking the engine.... Its for show!!
-
Welcome to last year! Where you been pezzy, thats been around LOL PCOA is a great board, they get technical, and type funny australian words http://pcoa.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1...911&start=0

Just FYI, I fit 32" BFG's on my stock suspension R50 with mediocre trimming.

why waste your money on higher octane???? Octane is only the measurement of a fuels resistance to pre-detonation, occurs in high conmpression, high horsepower engines. Higher octane gas IS NOT "cleaner". Higher octane does NOT burn "better" (it is in fact much harder to burn). Higher octane does NOT add power. Some experts say the octane has no effect on deflagration (burn) but only on effects of PRE-detonation (pinging). I think that higher octane actually burns worse in our VG33's. Higher octane fuel is a WASTE in our low compression VG33 engines!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating Scroll down to effects of octane!!!

Nice write up! got after pics? I know what you mean about the front yards. I'm sure there have been several times when people hear a screaming 3.3L at 3am, look out their window only to see my QX4 shooting rooster tails against the side of their house!!

Yeah its either a great additive or a great marketing scheme. Chevron is probably the most popular gas among auto enthusiasts here in San Diego, they tend to be the cleanest of all gas stations and maybe that helps with the marketing?? Some people probably i never heard of BP though. Ill tell you whats a good gas station anywhere in Mexico... PEMEX... Well that's your only choice anyways, since its their goverment owned and regulated gas monopoly. In Mexico, gas is much cheaper than here in the US (and the great part - its all USA gas, shipped in from Texas - cheaper than we get it for - thank G Dubya B for that one!!)
-
Whichever station has less police presence, so you can sell drugs under the guise of filling up :tonguefinger:

Yes 87-95 Pathfinders are on a frame and there are hundreds - if not thousands - that are SAS'ed 96-04 is unibody therefore hard to attach a Solid axle to anything but Jeep liberty guys are already doing it on their unibodies, so im sure its possible. But those Cheep lovers are much more dedicated and ambitious than us. you just need time, money, dedication, and the drive to want the SAS and of course its possible. If i win the $240 million CA lottery today, ill be SAS'ing mine.
