  1. Wow that looks goood but quite some work involved. Ive had this skid plate laying around for three months now and still havent installed it cause of this stupid design, not being able to do oil changes efficiently I might go have something similar fabbed up, what did you use to cut it?
  2. be careful to pull straight back, not side to side, i broke one of those tabs once, luckily the tail light was already broken and getting replaced by a $75 one from junkyard
  3. i say install it in the rear compartment, and splice into the rear 12v outlet. clean.
  4. I use NXT on the QXslow and this is the civic with generic wax from the local auto detail supply
  5. My thoughts exactly, where is the rear axle and driveshaft??

  7. and its been chillin me just fine! It got it for pennies on the dollar compared to prices in the US
  8. I bought a used one at a junkyard in Tijuana Mexico for dirt cheap and it works great!
  9. And have fun while its smoking. I had people staring, yelling, middle fingers, cars honking, kids jumping off their bikes and pulling their shirts over their faces, etc Then again, I live in the metro of downtown san diego, you dont want to do it in real urban areas but i have no choice
  10. wow nice damage... good thing youre OK... if you were in a smaller car, you might be dead
  11. yes like xplorx4 said, its all about where the engine is most efficient in the powerband, there is no direct correlation between RPM's and MPG I know a guy who likes to keep RPMs low (1k-2k)and just hold the gas down all the way to move, he doesnt realize that he is killing his own MPG and too stupid to listen to me... also refuses to use A/C and keeps windows down, whereas most cars (including our R50's) get better mileage with AC on and windows up.
  12. could be a bad fan clutch or even dirt in the radiator (exterior). I had the same problem, replaced thermostat and fan clutch, still had problem, finally figured out that all the radiator needed was a good cleaning. I took a garden hose from the back of the radiator towards the front and A BUNCH of brown stuff came out, even though the radioator looked clean to the naked eye. I'm not guaranteeing that this will work but if youve done a lot of offroading its worth a try for free. To check fan clutch: Warm your engine up to operating temp, turn off, and spin the fan by hand. Does it spin freely or less than a full revolution and stop? If it spins loosely, fan clutch is bad.
  13. not sure about mpg, and mine aint no VG35, but i did notice my 3.3L engine runs "healthier" and pulls harder after seafoam....
  14. that first one with the leather and 5 speed 4x4 is SWEET i wish i could have found one like that when i was searching....
  15. looks clean to me.... nicer than many on the boards...
  16. hell of a deal. i just might put a bid in for $400
  17. oh wow... i like the wheel spin.... mine cant even come close to that on 31's
  18. Insane... i like the infiniti logo on the swap... wiring looks like loads of fun Props, let us know how it wheels
  19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coilover
  20. Technically, the R50 already has front coilovers, no need to convert. "Coilover" is short for "coil (spring) over strut" All MacPherson struts are "coilovers" already.... The only thing is, our coilovers aren't adjustable.... thats probably what you are looking for, adjustable coilovers Ive seen it done on an R50.... it was a custom job.... have pics somewhere at home...

I just realized - the change in economy! I priced LPG kits in Poland over 3 years ago and they were $3000 PLN which, at the time, was about $700 USD. The American dollar has dropped so much in value lately, that today $3000 PLN is $1400 USD. You guys are absolutely correct.
  23. mines a 99 qx4 so it might be different... but its stil an R50 with the VG33 engine
