haha thats why i love the "4x4 on a switch" extra large cup holder. It fits 24 oz of every good beer, even with a insulated bottle jacket, it even fits the larger "caguama" mexican beer which equates to about 32 oz. I've never tried a budweiser 40 cause i don't drink that pee pee

if you have the 4x4 on a knob, and no lever, there is a HUGE cupholder in place of that lever. I mean this thing can hold the biggest size big-gulp no problem. Makes the other 2 by the e-brake look like childrens cup holders.

a common problem in the HVAC system on 96-00 pathfinders is the blower motor resistor, which is the small electrical piece on the blower motor. I know that the symptoms of a faulty blower resistor are that the HVAC only blows on full blast, or none at all. Therefore I do not know if your symptoms are relevant. Is your HVAC control panel electrical with buttons or is it with twist knobs? By cable, do you mean the one behind the control panel?

Thats cool to convert to LPG. Dont really see that here in USA on passenger cars.... the prices of LPG versus Gasoline are so close here that the benefits don't outweigh the costs of installation, and finding an LPG gas station is a pain in the ass here! Whats funny is, the average American has no idea that cars can be converted to LPG... It is so rare here that the idea of a car running on propane is preposterous to some!

copy and paste since that link will be dead in several months: The 96-99 R50 FSM explains a complex method to properly torque down the rotors. Most likely you won't have the proper tools, and probably not the patience, either (I don't). The method is extremely trying but at least it answers your question. Tighten WHEEL BEARING LOCK NUT to 58 - 72 ft lbs. Turn wheel several times in both directions. Loosen lock nut to 0 ft lbs. Retightnen to only 4.3 - 13 INCH, not foot, lbs. Turn wheel several times in both directions. Retightnen again to same 4.3 - 13 INCH lbs. Measure axle end play. Should be 0. With a spring gauge on one of the hub bolts, measure and record the force of the wheel. Install LOCK WASHER and tighten lock nut within 15 - 30 degrees. Turn wheel several times again in both directions to seat bearing. Re-measure force of the wheel with spring gauge. Subtract First measurement from second. Difference should be 1.59 - 4.72 lbs. If outside range, tighten or loosen lock nut within + or - 15 degrees, reinstall lock washer and repeat steps until within tolerance. Told you it was trying.

VG owners have easy access to spark plugs. VQ owners also have easy access to their spark plugs, but only when they are replacing faulty ignition coils.

HATE HATE HATE!!! IM THE BIGGEST HATER!!!! $#&% YOU!!! haha just kidding. I'm at 130k miles on my VG33 and never had a single major problem. Bad fan clutch right now but nothing that hinders driving. I rented a VQ35 Murano for a week and wow, much more powerful. Sporty, and the exhaust tone is addicting. As a tow truck driver, I have seen a lot of Nissans and based on my experience, I can tell you that I would not own a VQ unless I had a lot of money to burn. Purchasing a more expensive VQ R50 does not make any financial sense whatsoever, but it does make horsepower sense. Here are some choices: -Fast -Cheap -Reliable Pick two.

Make sure all yoru strut bolts are on tight. Peridically check the ones on top of the front struts, particlarly the ones under the dust caps. I had one back out on the trail and it caused me a LOT OF HEADACHE!!!

Yes, the unit displays outside temp, both in F and C (your choice). I believe that the ambient air temp sensor is in the nose of the car, on a bracket mounted to the centerpiece of the radiator support, right in front of the radiator (on the A/C condensor side). I could be mistaken though.

For comparison, i'm running 265/75/16 tires which equate to 31.6" on my stock suspension QX4 and I had to do a lot of trimming to make it work. The rear i had to cut sheetmetal and hollow out the QX4 fender flares, which are now held on with zip ties, and it still rubs, i still have more cutting to do. No going back now.
