There is a method to turn your air bag light off.... It involves turning the key to ON and pressing the door switch a certain amount of times in like 10 seconds, i forgot what exactly but I found the procedure online with some research, I posted about it on AC years ago. Beats the dealer, who wanted $200 to turn the light off.

ya man i just drove through a hurricane so i could buy a beach chair set at walmart, lol

if its raining and stormy, why would you want to fix the AC?

and yes i am writing this BS at 3:30 am. What the $#&%. I figure this guy Dean has always helped with ANYTHING R50 RELATED. We owe this dude some info. Dean - you are probably listening to classic rock and watching DVDs. Man, for a whole and rich sound, you need to match those amped speakers up to some bass. Trust me you will not be rattling the neighborhood, knocking pictures off the wall with a nice 8 or 10 inch sub. Let us know what you decide bro. -

hah u not an audiophile but you got a damn kenwood DVD head unit, alpine amp, speakers, etc. LOL. Trust me bro - YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT PATH. That Head unit looks bad ass, you can never go wrong with an alpine amp, you just need some bass. I wouldn't change your speakers - the setup sounds good. You are just missing the low-end which I can understand. Bass is like crack. End up getting withdrawals and @!*%. Next thing you know you are knocking on doors asking for two dollars and selling black porn out of a cardboard box. Bass might do that to you. I compared a kenwood coaxial speaker up next to a Bose QX4 speaker today. The difference is tremendous. The Bose looks like a small subwoofer, whereas the Kenwood looks like it is built for strictly mids and highs. Yeah the Mazda Bose sounds "better" (probably well-rounded but not louder) than the pathfinder setup..... So what, your pathy had a bose too and you remember what it sounded like. You probably replaced it for a reason. I know I did. Add some bass, and the Nissan will blow the Mazda out of the water - not to mention capability to add a USB thumb drive, ipod, bluetooth, cd changer, mp3 player, and subwoofer control. Stock stereo SUCKS!!!! -
looks good!

because you were asking for bass, and the bottom line is you won't have any with ANY aftermarket door speakers - let alone your current setup! In my opinion, powerful is a good thing. Doesn't mean you have to go rattle your trunk at full volume. JL subs sound great when listening to a movie or listening to music quietly.... Better than any movie theatre when i'm at the drive-in. A single 8" sub would *probably* meet your needs, a single 10" sub is enough to start rattling the trunk when cranked up and would definitely meet your needs. My buddy had a bazooka tube and it is absolute junk, I wouldn't use it if I got it for free. -
the fronts are easy to do without a spring compressor. I just squeezed the spring with my left hand and tightened the nut with my right.

That is pretty steep for a 10W1 sub!! A JL 10W1 sub by itself should be around $110. Does that price include installation or something? Does it have an amp of some sort? A $400 enclosure is too much. I paid about $300 for a JL 10W3 in a custom ported box that was built by a JL dealer, and the W3 hits harder than the W1. JL W1 is the bottom of the JL line, but dont be fooled - they are still better than a lot of the top end subs from other companies! And about the tweeters - it was no problem for me, I fit some JBL tweeters in there - I just had to slightly dent the grilles to accommodate the larger tweeters but it is hardly noticeable. -

In my honest opinion, you wont get any good bass without a sub. Aftermarket speakers are meant for mids and highs whereas the bose paper speakers are capable of putting out some lows. I have the whole entire stereo re-done as well, and when i turn the sub off, it is nothing but mids and highs with no bass, absolutely unacceptable. -
what all is involved in replacing???

I got an alignment today and the shop says the inner tie rods are loose. I held on to the tie rod while the guy shook the tire and I did feel a slight bit of s loose slack. They quoted $300 for a repair, 2 new inner tie rods and alignment. Is there any truth to this? I can't feel anything bad while driving. What do you suggest?

In the tow truck pic, that is the wrong way to tow a pathfinder. That will spin the rear driveshaft but since the fronts aren't moving, the mechanical oil pump in the 4x4 transfer case is not working. Best way to tow a 4x4 Pathfinder is on a flatbed, or with dollies (all wheels off the ground) , but if you really must, lift it from the rear with a wheel lift (i wouldnt do this on mine).

my 99 QX4 is rare because it is the only one to explore Baja with leather seats.

I just called the Infiniti dealership to price this cover, It is a special order piece but still available. $484.90 for the retractable cover, no end caps. end caps are an additional $30 each, you need two of them. so about $550 for the whole thing DAMN.
-
Seriously, if you can find a cover for $60-$100 then BUY IT, put it on ebay and double up your money!
