  1. Good song, but I think crazy bitch is better. Right now I'm listening to some song by Wynonna cuz that's the only halfway decent thing on the radio. Maybe I'll just go to bed...
  2. Happy Birthday Cory, which rig is getting the bday money? Hope it all goes well etc. Your myspace says you're 24 now, congrats you old fart.
  3. Welcome. You might also want to check out nissan4wheelers.com, a lot of those guys are located in your general area.
  4. Here's the link to our discussion on another board, sounds like we may meet in Bend around April 15th.
  5. I thought the earlier trucks had 31 spline? At any rate the 96+ trucks have 33 splines
  6. My old man works on the dams in Hells Canyon. If you wanted a tour I could prob hook you up. I spent about ten years of my life down there, freakin awesome in the summer except for the snakes. I know there are more eastside people out there; Harb, who else?
  7. I agree, definitely gonna need a lift for those tires. I've seen a 93 XE with that size tire on the stock 6" wide rim, he used a bl with a little taller coils and a tbar crank and had very minimal trimming. Just an FYI
  8. I think they're one and the same Kris. How I wish I had an mpi engine so I could get one of those
  9. Woops, I forgot to say where I'm from. I'm in La Grande OR
  10. I was just wondering who all was on the Eastern side. I know there are a couple guys here in the NW that are quite a ways from the Western side and just wondered if there were any others. Anyhoo, post up :type:
  11. Nice quote under the avatar Justina I think, atm, it's kinda a crapshoot with Calmini. I applaud them for being ballsy enough to produce an sas kit for our trucks when most of us are pretty broke and aren't promising huge sales numbers to them. I also remember reading somewhere (NOR?) that Calmini hired this David guy to help with their CS issues. They know they've sucked it up in the past, and I think it's awesome that they're doing something about it. I also don't think the MC kit can be compared to the Calmini kit. While I'd shoot for the price and quality of the MC parts if I were building a Nissan kit, I also know that those Yoter kits have been subsidized by other customers, as they've been on the market for quite awhile now. By no means am I saying Calmini is an excellent vendor. I haven't heard of one of their steering kits that hasn't needed modded to either fix the bushings or the squeaking, and they advertise stuff they don't sell (rear bumper for the HBs, interior rollcage, etc). I'm just saying that they're looking up, and if they're willing to R&D their SAS kit and tcase gears etc, and they're of good quality as they seem to be, I'll be willing to buy them as soon as I scrape up the dough. That said, I'm almost willing to bet money that the rig they mention for moab this year is the 2dr pathy with either coils or coilovers up front
  12. I'd have one if I had a camera. It was an older version of Pezzy's.
  13. Nissan Z24i 4banger is the same way, 8 spark plugs. They're definitely easier than VG30 plugs tho As far as the Ranger thing tho, I've known a lot of people they've done well by. I'm guessing the Ranger you're referencing isn't the same thing we can get over here? And the clincher of course, is it a diesel?
  14. Heh, I don't even have a Pathy yet, but I live close to Harbinger and GreenEnvy, might just hafta steal one of theirs, hehe
  15. I agree, that sounds a little high. There was a nice silver 89 SE 4x4 manual with all the options for sale over there with a lot less than 200k (can't remember atm, something like 150) for $2000, which sounds like a better deal than the one you're looking at. If you're looking for a nice 2dr, I'd say to keep looking. Why are you looking for another one anyway? That green one probably wants to be lifted etc. This is the same reason I won't buy a second vehicle, it means affording twice as many mods
  16. I too have the AC UCAs. I bought them used, they were on a well-used Pathfinder before I got them, and I think they'll be fine. They don't look as stout as some but plenty stout enough to be on my rig. I used to think AC's UCA's were bad just because people had had bad luck with them but I've come to realize that at least a few people have had bad luck with every brand of UCA for our Nissans, some are just more widely publicized is all...
  17. I love JP's HB. Not many people have the know-how or balls to turbo the 4banger and add fuel injection, then swap to an Isuzu drivetrain along with an sas at the same time...way cool. As to bumpers, I've always been partial to this bumper. He used to hang around n4w as orange4ska. When I build a bumper for the HB it will end up something like his:
  18. Have it resurfaced. I didn't last time I did the clutch and have regretted it every shift of the last 50k or so. I've got the engine out now, and am doing it right this time
  19. Everybody I've seen that has tried to fit the newer generation Nissan wheels to the (W)D21s has had to use wheel spacers. Something about the right backspacing but the wrong offset? I haven't seen them in person, but I think the minimum is a 1/2" spacer, I'll try to find that info again...
  20. You could also just reindex the tbars, there's a how-to somewhere around here. And Justin forgot to mention Bilstein shocks, people seem to really like them as well.
  21. What he said ^ And would you mind losing part of that freakin huge sig?
  22. I agree with Vsicks on the lights difference. You could make the HB lights fit by grinding them down or something, but they are far from the same as the Pathy ones. I remember 88, when he was on the AC board, giving people crap about having the clears. Now he's got'em. Looks great on his Pathy, the white and clears really go together well. Just funny... If y'all are interested, I think 88 and a few others got theirs at ozeparts.com. IIRC, they were like $60 plus shipping from Australia.
  23. If I bought a Pathy w/o the rear tire carrier, I'd buy one of these. From KMA, http://www.kenmtnac.com/
  24. They look kinda like the AC UCAs I've got. I'll look closer tomorrow to try to verify.
  25. Nice. What's the backspacing on those?
