  1. System-F has a set of wheels like GrimGreg's that I think is for sale... I like those wheels that came stock on some of the (W)D21s, I think they were the early Nismos or something. I can't find a pic to upload however. Anybody know what I'm talking about? The wide 5 spoke aluminum wheel with lots of backspacing? I know somebody on here's got to have a set. Another wheel I really like the look of on Nissans is the MB Motoring Overdrive wheel, looks sharp.
  2. sw, Cooper makes the STT in the narrow 33? Is that the new design or the old one? I'd like to run that size, but the only MT I can find them in is the BFG, and it's kinda spendy here.
  3. You might talk to this guy...he's made some stickers, Nissan and otherwise, for some people over on AC, looks like he does a pretty good job: http://axiom8designs.com/ He's also got a pretty sharp looking 2dr Pathy...
  4. Those are the best pics I can find of it right now. Those are 32s in both pics I believe. If I find some better pics I will post up.
  5. Nice Taco there Dan, is that somebody in NIORA? As to the r50 lift, check the pinned r50 lift topic. The system-f Dan is referring to is the same considering building the lifts for them.
  6. Non alc: Mountain Dew, Water, Milk Alc: Coors Light, Keystone Light, Nevada Pale Ale, Jack Daniels (and anything), Southern Comfort (and anything), and straight, the greatest whiskey EVER: Pendleton!
  7. There may be a new caR50 lift coming out soon: http://www.4x4parts.com/ubbthreads/showfla...sb=5&o=&fpart=1 I know he doesn't want to tread on L&P's toes, but he was the very first person (in the US anyway) to do this to an R50, so he probably has a right to market it. Anyhoo, he would appreciate constructive criticism, so if you have any concerns about the lift/price/fitment, go ahead and get ahold of him. I'll try to find a couple pics of it on his Pathy. I can't wait to see some of you guys running these lifts. I've always appreciated the caR50, but fitting bigger tires has always been a problem. Now I may have to go find myself one...
  8. Justin, for some reason I remember you having the 6 spoke chromies, is that correct? If so, they are 15x6s. While you could fit an 11.5" wide tire on that rim, it might be hard to do.
  9. I wouldn't say running 31s would make his pathy too sluggish. Part of it would depend on which transmission he has, not that it would be horribly noticeable either way. It also depends on which gears he has. For instance, if he has 4.6 gears, I would probably recommend 31s just to keep the revs down on the freeway. I switch back and forth between 31s and 235s a couple times a year on my HB (4banger no less) and hardly notice it. The one time I did notice a change in driveability on a Nissan, a buddy and I switched his pathy from 31s to 235s and then up to 32s. The differences between the 31s to 235s and 31s to 32s weren't that noticeable, but we could feel the difference between the 235s and 32s. Either way, good luck with your pathy and I hope you choose the size you'll be happiest with.
  10. Yep, forgot an ARB was available for the C200, I'm pretty sure it's the same one used in the R200 diff. That Pathy should have the Z24i, which is throttle-body injected. Also, the axle code shouldn't be hg46 but ca46, (HG denotes H233b/R200, CA=C200/R180). Also, the 4.8 gears are EXTREMELY rare in the U.S. in the (W)D21 vehicles; I have heard of ONE Hardbody here in the States with the 4.8 gears.
  11. Depends on what you want to do with it. It sounds like a good deal, but may not be exactly what you're looking for. I drive a 4banger '86.5 hardbody. It's slow and notices every little bit of weight, but it's been uber-dependable (226k-all hard miles) and I like it fine. If you are doing the MX/CA trip with a lot of gear or extra people or something, I might reconsider and find one with a V6. I doubt you can find a V6 one with that many "extras" (newer engine, new clutch etc) for that price but you never know. I did some research on the Z24i Pathys, was thinking about buying one from a friend awhile back, but here is what I found out: '87 Pathfinders were the only year in the U.S. to come with the 4banger, in the E model. The 2 I've seen have both had 4.6 gears. Being the 4banger model, they also come with the smaller (weaker) r180/c200 combo, and the only traction aid for either of those, short of welding, is to buy a limited slip from AC, Calmini, or Nismo, or to find one out of a Z.
  12. Well I don't know if the caR50 rearends are any different than any other H233Bs (the front ends are high pinion, so supposedly other gears and traction aids won't work), but this may be worth a gander: http://home.sprintmail.com/~onlyone/frames.html Go to mods, and then Detroit Locker. He converted his 33 spline H233b to 31 spline to be able to install the Detroit, and has had it like that for awhile without any problems.
  13. That wasn't me 88. Remember extreme90path? That was him, I let him use my comp (He was that guy who had a white pathy with a 3" bl and a roofrack on 31" TXRs on XE steelies, thought he'd blown it up, but it had actually just ingested some water. He sold it and got it back and is now trying to get it going again. He said he posted using my name and I've been looking around trying to find this damn post to see what happened. As to me, I know nothing about the VG series motors, wouldn't've said anything in this post, I'm just trying to do some research as I'm looking at a '95 wd)
  14. It could be the knock sensor. (in the distributer) My pathfinder (extreme90path) is ideling really bad and I have pulled codes. Fixed them, but I am convenced that it is the knock sensor. FYI the knock sensor is built into the distributer, so you have to replace it whole unit. (90-95). Hope this helps. -Extreme90path
  15. Where in southern OR? Close to KFalls, Ashland, or Lakeview or ? Harbinger, any trails over there to go on? There's a HB guy in Mtn. Home that might be up for a run and I could come over, could be a fun little run maybe?
  16. So you just called and asked to get the UCAs only and that's the price they gave you? I know the HB kit wont fit the pathys, just clarifying...
  17. Wouldn't the 9116 be the RS9000? If so, how do you like them? I just ordered 4 RS9000s for my HB, can't wait. I don't know very much about shocks, but I would recommend the RS9000 for up there too, I've never heard anybody complain about them. I plan to run them stiff and take off my swaybar so I can handle and flex, best of both worlds sort of thing...
  18. cardboard? Good luck when it rains I have the one that extreme90path had on his pathy, I'm considering cutting it down a little so it'll fit on my HB
  19. I think Mossy Oak is the rarest, it's the sage green y'all were talking about earlier. We have several gray/burgundys here, a black, several blues, and a few maroons. That's about it.
  20. :Intruding again: I'm in LaGrande OR during school, Richland OR when I'm not. About as far eastern Oregon as it gets. I know dmb lives somewhere in northern Idaho, Nez Perce county I think? XerOne, do you know the Bandeens there? Im good friends with Holly and Wendy teaches at my old high school. I may be up for a run or two this summer, if y'all don't mind a HB instead of a Pathy.
  21. hehe, I remember that. 88, I think you are well acquainted with this badcat, no?
  22. Hey thanks Dan. Well, I didn't buy it. He didn't tell me that they had replaced the head gasket and now it won't start. Must've gotten the cam off a tooth or so. It acts like it wants to start, just can't. For the money he wants for it, it should run, and well to boot. So that idea is out the window. I will still lurk around though if y'all don't mind. Probably won't post, just go back to lurking. Thanks
  23. Howdy all I have been a lurker here for awhile, but haven't registered as I just have a HB. However, this weekend I am going to look at an '87 Pathfinder E so I thought I'd register. I went to high school with the owner (I'm in college), it's got the 4banger, the factory light bar, body lift, and aftermarket rear coils, can't remember if it has aftermarket UCAs also. I am planning on buying it. Don't know whether I will swap the engine/tranny/tcase into my HB and sell the Pathfinder or may keep both. The pickup has 210k on it and is a little tired, the Pathfinder has a brand new motor, with 124k original on the rest of it. Anyway, thanks for the awesome site and I look forward to "meeting" those of you I don't already "know" from AC, TNT, or N4W. P.S. I'm in LaGrande OR, pretty close to extreme90path.
