  1. I have stock uca's but i dunno, and its not a squeak when i turn it all the way, its a squeak when i move the wheel but il check the uca's.
  2. hey guys sry i kinda ran this topic off tha subject, but back on tha subject i greased my bj's and it still squeaks, its any time my rig flexes at all(not like rock crawling but like goin over a dip in my driveway) and when i turn my steering wheel. i think its something in the a-arm bushing/shock area, and it seems that its coming from the front right. I need help b/c i start school back on wed. so if im gonna work on it its got to be tomm. or tues. thanks -matt
  3. Is there any way i could get another tach to go back where that one is in thhe cluster or am i gonna have to get an aftermarket one?
  4. Hey ive done the search and all but i cant find the answer to my problem. i have a 95 pathy w/ auto trans. and my tach is goin crazy. It doesnt just cut out and in it jerks sparatically. Like ill be runnin normal speed and it will be jumpin from 2,000-6,000, and i know my engine speed is not 6,000 rpm's-so i dont know if the gauge is goin out or what but any help would be appreciated.
  5. i have flares w/ flaps, did these come on all the pathys or were they flares w/o flaps? it looks like the flap will scrub first but its gonna look dumb if i take the flap off, can i swap those flares for some without flaps?
  6. naw wheelman i didnt put them on, the local mechanic did and he greased em, but a lil more grease cant hurt, lol, but jj how big of a deal is it to trim the flares and mush back the sheet metal??? I want 32's but i dont want my rig to look bad, and i dont do mych off roadin so i aint as worried bout the angles, or should i b?
  7. aight i think im gonna go w/ tha sl, but goin back to tha squeak, can i jus take the shock off and then if it quits squeakin, then the problem is the shock? im gonna grease my ball joints in tha morn, but would that work w/ the shock, and whats the price on the energy susp. bushings?
  8. Aight thanks man, i just got new ball joints (upper and lower) but i havnt greased em but i will in tha morn, and i thought bout tha energy susp. bushings, what do they run ya?
  9. thats what i wanted to hear!!! Would you get the same tire clearance from a 3'' bl and a 3'' sl? i know the bl is cheaper but i dont like the look of the frame under the doors showin. thanks for yalls advice tho.
  10. aight thats what i thought but wasnt sure, thnx, and do u think 32's would b possible w/ a 3 in susp. lift?
  11. j/w on the www.4x4parts.com website, when u look at the 87-95 pathfinders, the Upper a-arms say they give 3 inches of lift, well i thought it was the tbars givin the lift and they fixed the angles but am i wrong or are they?
  12. Thank you, that makes sense. Will i be able to get 3 inches out of reind. my tbars to match the rear tho?
  13. ok this is one of my ?'s that i know is kinda dumb but i need to know, on the reindexing the tbars it talks about "splines"-what are they-and could all this lift be done by myself and maybe a freind, cuz the labor in a shop kills me.
  14. After i reindex the tbars and put on the uca's, how bad out of alignment will my front end b? and is there a way to align the front end yourself b/c that 50 a pop is getting old. thanks for the advice tho.
  15. Ok i searched for the lift but if neone could give me the combos for the lift i would appreciate it. Ok i know buy the jgc or ford coils in the rear, but for the front what all will i need, t-bars, coils, UCA's-what. I dont even drive it in 4wd that much cuz it kills the gas but i still want to b able to, i know the UCA's correct the angle or w/e but would i need them? and my t-bars are almoswt maxed out and they sag really bad so i guess i need aftermarket t-bars, but which of those for the front do i NEED, im on a tight budget? I really dont have many 4wheelin buddies so u guys are it, everyone round here jus says leave it stock and they cant give me ne advice so i need you guys-lol-Thanks alot-Matthew
