  1. So what the jet thing does is the same thing as the power button in a wd21 does, changes shift points and injector out put, I swear Super chips does make a progammer for the car50s,or at least they did.Couldnt you stack boxs and use both the Jet and the other one for more power, better drivablity...? I looked and you right about the super chips, they dont make one,I was almost positive that they did so...
  2. Jet,if I'm not mistaken makes one as well,as does super chips...
  3. Cause Amsoil is the best...made out of minny-yota...
  4. Fill the tranny from the shifter hole, not the factory filler hole...
  5. You can get new(60kish) engines from japan,I forget the name of the company but somebuddy on hear knows, sevral members have gotten stuff from them...Sorry to hear about the death of your pathy...
  6. No,they'll add more power and a more aggressive tone but its probly only a 10hp boost for like 500 bucks...
  7. Yep...That about 5k worth of stuff there...
  8. If your planing on playing in deep mud/water(above bumper) then I would add a snorkle...
  9. No,that should be it,you dont need a solid front axle unless you have 35inch+ tires and you playing rocks, the stock stuff should do you just fine until you get to that point...other then the intake and exhaust upgrades you dont really need anything else...
  10. Not until the Clutch plates in it wear out,but by then you should have the moeny to build it into a monster...
  11. A sas in front is not worth the time/effert/money if you playing in mud,for rocks and hard core trail then yeah do it,but for mud IFS in the front is fine...if there talking about a diffrent back axle then they dont know what there talking about, that axle will handle 40s fine on a little truck, its nearly as strong as a ford 9 in rear...
  12. LSD,Limited slip differential, both back tires will spin when you going straight, at the same speed,...Open rear end/No LSD/Locker= 1 rear tire spins.Easy way to tell is if you have a Orange stick on the diff cover or it you go to a dirt road and spin the tires,2=lsd,1=open...or jack up the back and spin the tires by hand,if they go the same way its lsd,if one gos forward and the other backwards its open...
  13. Do you have An LSD rear,a detroit locker is great off-road but sucks all on street and in winter(one you cant turn with out chriping the tires and the other you;ll do more sliding then any thing)If you have an lsd already it fine, hell I'll even mail you a detroit locker sticker so you can put it on back if you want, you would notice the diffrence because both back tires will spin when you churnin' through the slick S*(t...
  14. Couldnt you just put both tires on ramps on one side and fill like that...?
  15. New style Mt/rs? Look at Dick Cepek Fun Country 2's,there pretty good in snow and ice too...better then ether styles your talking about...in snow and ice that is...but still good in mud.
  16. I dont know,I always heard good stuff about the newer toyos,50k with 30-40 percent tread left is good...
  17. All look good but are crap in mud...really the mud grappler looks like its great but they dont clean out well unless you spin them like mad...I think the guy said he wanted Goodyears or BFG's,If it where the km1s then I''d say do the BFG's,but with the new styles I dont know whick lasts longer, although 4wor did do there ultimit adventure on bfg crawlers for the last 5 year, but switched to the goodyears last year...
  18. Toyos are ok,although I would look at yokohoma Geolanders (the mud terrain) there directional but there work better when there on backwards,A wider then stock tire is better for mud...
  19. Did you get the snow wheeling pics from the Post...Just wondering if you did and if theres away to get them off the site or move them hear...
  20. Oh and some exploder and grand Heep owners have done what you plan,I'd look at there builds since I dont think theres ever been chopped front and rear pathys...
