my center consel was always hot to the touch and my driver back seat foot space was always hot but I had a glass pack. It was never a problem since it was never that hot.But when did it all the time,with and without the fresh air mode on.

Trannys hosed,get a new one.my 95 did the same thing.Slipping in third and od like wwhat you said,you let off the gas and it slips like there no gear there at all until it'll catch.I still drove mine like this so I lost 3/od and now 2nd is starting to give out.Do a 5 speed swap or swap in a good used tranny and rebuild this one.

6.25mpg?I say the colant gauge.The egr will pump oil into the air filter box but shouldnt cause any bogging.I'd clean the trottle body just for the hell of it also,a dirty as hell one wont work right and cause bogging.

Private party with that milage 2,000-2500 (3000 if you provide proof that the t-belt has been changed)is the most I would pay,dealership would probly have it for 3999 or some retarded price. Of curse I'm saying this if the pathy pass's smog and drives ok.If not then 1000-1500 is the most. Now having said this I looked at a rusty 93 with 240,000 on it for 2900 and the stealer ship guy kept telling me how good of a truck they are despit its rotten frame.

I know for sure that the 89's had IRS rears.I think they started it out on the SC(supercoupes)

I know the 240z had irs rear,not sure on the 510.The t-bird had irs in it too.

Your syncronizer is bad,thats all,you can double clutch into 4th right?It isnt a magor problem,I live with a truck that has a unsynced 1st and its no problem.If the fluid level is low then that may just be a problem,it was in my moms 00 f150 5spd.It not its the sync.

Not a lot,because they where built before the whole suv mom craze took off,back when a truck was a truck and sheep where scared to move.They had true fuel injection,not tbi,ford got it in 86 and the chev in 88.They could both be had with power seat if you wanted them.Both had od trannys before the pathfinder was even an idea and one big factor,No timing belt and there frames dont rot out.

What about the 300z dash, they lasted maybe 30,000 miles and burnd out,then cost 2g's in 1980s money to fix. The distial dash in my uncles 90 chevy 1500 is still going,well past 500k on it too.Look at it all,hell,my dads fiat has a ohc 4 in it and runs a t-belt and is faster then any of the so called muscle cars of the 80s,and its not even a sporty on. And also,since most 80s cars are garbage to begin with why would you want a japanes 80's car.There just ripe off's of american cars that have been updated with more computer chips so theres a delay when you give them gas.

LSA engine?really,your going to put to 15,000 wanna be honda engine into an at least a 15 year old truck.Why?they dont make tourqe below 3k where it should be made in a truck.It maybe ok in a dune jumper or a desert truck but not a whole lot of other things.

Or swap in a 305 chev with headers and a fogger system...200hp/220lbs N/A and roughly 50 more on the juice...and you dont have to worry about t-belts...since it has a timing chain. Or a bored and stroked 454-496 with patriot heads,demon 1050 carb and supercomp headers.600-700 hp N/A Or a blown 706 top sportmans engine running nitro with 15-1 compression and makes 1500 hp. Any of these engines give the better bang for the buck then the vg's,just saying.

About a nice nor-easter blowing at 45 right up your crack.My 95 was about 95-100 with its fiv6.And a lower gear ratio hurts top speed.

Never had a problem with the rear door on the pathy,the camaros hood is held up with a snow brush though.

Or get bogged down.Wheel speed is the only factor,you need to keep it up to clean the tires out.Even tractor tires will become packed if there not enuff speed.Getting a set of boggers is probly the best stock tires for mud.Sipe them for even better traction.

High speed,foot so far through the floor the clutch is cutting your toenails for you should get you just find.I dont wheel in rocky mud.

Always could flush it,although that doesnt get all the fluid out and you have the chemicals in there even after changing the fluid.
