  3. You got a addict on your hands...better stop himbefore he ends up like cookie monster...
  4. Theys said it all, although a snorkle wont be any help puddle jumping, since most of the time the water will splash all over it...
  5. Sounds like a stuck lifter then, its ok to drive,it'll just make that noise unless you seafoam it a few times to unstick it. It could be a chunk in you cat,I had a crown vic that had a piece of the cat break off inside and at idle it sounded like it was banging, when above that it went away...
  6. I can listion to it but if it speeds up when you rev it I'll go with a main(theres a youtube vid of a chevy) If it is indeed a main, theres a guy sell a good running 91 thats been rolled for 300 bucks...or 800 with 2 day old Goodyear wranglers in Bay city Wisc...
  7. Then dont turn to the right?Fuel control moduel maybe,it'll stall out,but I've never heard of one to keep doing it,its always a one time deal,it just wont restart until it gets a new one...
  8. Kinda...but it doesnt have to be automotive, could be boats, vespa's,that giant boxed of used condoms in your closet that you collected since 1984... I have a pair of 65 chev imps sitting at my parents house, pix's of one can be seen on my facebook...
  9. Well,it could be a lot of scents...Cherry,vanilla,grape? A SMOKED CLUTCH STINKS,Nothing like candle smoke...
  10. The fuel pressure regulator hose missing will cause it to idle funny,I'm not sure if it will cause bad gas milage(has been a while since mine ran away)
  11. I got a everstart 24ms-6 boat battory in mine,it fits just fine but you need to lift one side so the cables fit...
  12. If its fluttering then it does sound like you have a leak someplace,or the filter is letting air get past it.I have run mine with out a air filter and it sounds like a mega whoshing sound.
  13. No,I dont know what you mean...but check to see if the case is warpped and see if the filter is messed up.Did you put all the tubes for the air box back on?Are you sure its coming from the air box and not the exhaust?Did you put the filter in the right way, somepeople will put it in so the metal side is facing the inlet pipe and not the tbi...
  14. I ranged from 14-19 dding 60-80 miles aday in the warm months. And 12-16 in the cold, snowy months(with one horrible 9mpg trip,)You could use a tune up or it could just be normal for you trip,do you have a lot of stops? It could be that you gauge is off too,Mine would read half a tank but only take 7 gallons to fill up.Just boucing ideas but maybe look into a decent tune up if it hasnt had one in a while.
  15. Bong...damn,I cant spell

  16. So,judging from your pick you went to jail for selling a bomb on the interweb?

  17. Its an s10,they dont even make them any more...
  18. very worn valve guides will smoke when you sit and rev it too...OSR,its a chevy, its going to smoke a little, just dump oil in it if needed and your good.
  19. The guy that did my passager side didnt go all the way back,he welded new stuff in too about 2-3 inchs past the coil,he left the stock rusted frame after that.I noticed that it was starting to sag(I dont know how,it was like a 2 foot spot of no frame) so I jacked it up so there wasnt any weight on it and burned to chunks of 2x2 squire tub in,the bottom one went into the frame like a foot and was welded and the top one went in the frame like 4-5 inchs and was welded.I then welded the top on to the bottom one and welded it to the back of the frame.
  20. The cat can go,it will be louder, but you dont need it.Some people will say that it gives you more power but thats only true if there plugged.Even on big engines that are built you will only see 1-3 more horsy over stock with out a cat, unless there extremly plugged.I dont have a vg30i so i cant tell you more. But you could get 20-30 bucks for the meow at a salvage yard.
  21. Agreed,if you dont use 4wd or play in something like sand or mud pits they will last a while, any thing else and they'll blow.
  22. Mine was just a little better on the p-side,I snapped the stabalizer bars off the frame withing three weeks of owning mine. I wouldnt drive it like that, since theres nothing keeping the back axle on the truck.A easy way to fix the far rear rust(like where a hitch would bolt to the frame,is to use 2x2 inch squire tube thats a little less then a 1/4 inch thick. As far as useing 10 gauge sheet metal, dont do it!!,use 1/4 1/5 inch even 3/16 inch stock to do the frame, that part of the frame is always being stressed and even with *fishplate* extras,I wouldnt dought that the frame will bend. If you want to see pictures of my repair then you can check them out on facebook or I'm sure somebuddy will post theres up for you to see.
