  1. Ha, a Lemans A/T. I always laugh when I see one of those, they just pop up. And why yes, I made that run, if you dont believe me theres an old video of me doing it, I'm the dude in the black hat with the handle bars.
  2. My wd21 is now true to my handle, it sounds like thunder.

      Because no one likes you.

  3. STP does the samething as lucas and its $2.50 vs $7 Mod motors dont like Fram but VG's seem to like them just fine. A Motorcraft or Wix are the best choice though for people that run extended oil changes but if your doing 3k it doesnt matter one bit. Fram gets a lot of bad rap though but when you think about it there on average, its just that they offer 3 or 4 diffrent levels of filtration (tough guard up to double sausage wrap guard?) while many others only offer one high end filter.
  4. Misalighment during installation I believe. It probly puffed a little smoke when it started.
  5. You offered no response to begine with so you get
  6. Since no one else has said it I gotta. Have you checked the codes?
  7. That cause on S-series it takes like 40 minuts too pull a tranny.
  8. Real trucks Rub, thats the end of it. Hell I stuffed my minis on a 12" thick log. Look up Timbrens, thats what a lot of Plow guys use. They suck off road since it limits the amoung of travel before the axle bottoms out.
  9. I think it just went into limp mode from the sounds of it. My od worked (while coasting) but it would leave from second. Try as Slartiebartfat said and unhook the battory.
  10. I'm number one, other drivers say so.

  11. Black smoke is unburnt fuel. The high idle may very well be the fuel pressure regualtor hose on the rear of the intake. The miss under load is the MAF, I really dought its anything else then this. Theres a write up on how to clean it in the garage section (or maybe this section?) Does it seem like it rev's slower then it should? My MAF was going out and it spewed white smoke (not anti freeze) and it would take like 5 minutes of WOT to reach 4500rpm. Best of luck with your new truck.
  12. Hell my F150 has a double R sticky. Get it from SteveO. From what I understand much better then CAlMini and AC.
  13. How about you learn before trying to talk @!*% huh? Subaru= major problems. Head/water pump/ fuel deleivery problems are common among every subby I've seen. I know, I had to deal with a teachers forestor in school. 6 years old (2003 model) and it needed 3k in parts alone. A "built" xj on the WEST COAST are a lot of money. Jeeps arent worth it unless it has flat fenders or a V8. I can under stand how he may want a Jeep XJ but the 4.0 engine isnt that good the MAINs start going at 250k. I've seen/ heard mainy a 4.0 that knocked at that milage. I mean hell I can get 4.5 inch lifted xj's on 33's for 1500 in my area. All day long. I'm not sticking up or defending 5523pathfinder in anyway. I've gotten pissed at him in the past. But what he said here is 100 percent true and not bs in any form. Oh yeah, DANA AXLES came under ever XJ ever made. And you never ever buy a prebuilt truck. Just a little hint, since I know I beat the sheeit out of my resold cars. Have a nice day dude.
  14. If its on the dash and steering wheel at leasst get a new steering wheel, that sheit will eat the vinyle/plastic wrap right off them and will come back after bleaching/ cleaning.
  15. Noted to self, Hot pads are not optional equipment.

  21. Yeah, I know the 88+ had a light duty one that was 6 lug, but they also had a heavy half ton that I believe was a 8 lug in the same era. Hell my uncle has a 88 c2500 with a 4.3 v6 and a 14 bolt 6 lug rear. (I'm probly gonna rob it of its rear axle soon) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=120195 Read this, its for chevys but it has some good info on what may fit 21's. Looks like Ram 50 -89 mazda's and a few others will all interchange with 21's and 67-89 box chevy (only 4x4 wheels)
  22. Being that there both 4x4s theres just one little diffrence, chevy 3/4 tons from that era are 8 lug.
