  1. To re-adhere the emblems, use Monkey Snot or Gorilla Snot as it is called. Someone mentioned the 'official' name in the last 2 days but I can't remember. I'm sure the local auto supply guy willl know what you mean... B

    Pray

I really have no idea what to say other than I'm Sorry. Like you said, how can things build up like that ? I don't understand either... Rest well Greg Durham. B
  3. Welcome back transworldmoto !! I fail to see that you started the thread, much less comment other than to request deletion. WTF ? if you can have 1 more... In my defense, I have driven the truck less than 7000 miles in the last 14 months. Truthfully, normally it would be more than that. Still, my project car gets almost 30mpg and the bike has averaged 45mpg so I think I'm fairly gentle to the environment. B
  4. Ezy-Outs are a brand of bolt extractor made by Cleveland Twist Drill, are a tapered spiral fluted, and IMHO, they suck. Way too light duty and brittle. For the exhaust studs, I'd use the square, reverse straight flute design like made by Proto or the self drilling kind. B
  5. Hmm, maybe you got a defective line ? Maybe your master cylinder or power booster is not working properly ? Maybe you just have air trapped in the lines somewhere or a tiny leak ? I'd pretty much start checking things top down... Most of the inspection and testing is pretty easy. Do you have a manual ? B
  6. Calm down People. bundyboy, Dowser is Canadian, not American... While I agree with Dowser, there are many people in this forum who don't run cats. Lets not get excited by 1 more example. B
  7. Ok, so I walk by them in a hardware store by accident.... You want me to UPS them to you ? B
  8. No worries SS... The best I could find in Baja consistantly was Negro Modelo... Cheers B
  9. Yes SS, my spanish is very rusty... How about nino instead of hijo ? I think the point was still made though. B
  10. Yes, nice job MM... What size U bolts did you need again ?? Saw some at the local ACE that would fit. WheelmanLS1, unfortunately, it doesn't take much to crumple a corner on these, the bumpers are a joke. Take a look at the sheet metal and the reinforcement structure... Not very impressive. I prefer my 4x4 to be the simplest and toughest I can realistically make it. If I put one in, I'd keep it in the engine bay. B

    Morning All

Good idea... Always thought you were a bright one k9sar... No response is good response... I dont want to hear bad response. B
  12. Cant say I've done that V6, but it's not very different from 4xHi in the sand, moving at 3 mph.... That old truck never over heated. *taps on the gauge* *remembers he's in the Pathy now* *wishes he had gauges* *plans to install them* B
  13. I think I'd be safer in my VW Bug... I have NO doubt that my Pathy would do far better. It wouldn't deflate and collapse like a whoopie cushion. Frame mounted front guard helps a lot also... Funny, I didn't want to buy one of these things and still dont. B
  14. Because it is mainly 1st gear, I say check your motor/tranny mounts. Best way is to watch the motor with the hood open and someone giving gas and standing on the brakes at the same time. If the motor lifts too much, investigate further. The motor could be moving and pulling/relaxing the throttle cable which will cause surging. Check it out, its free. I'm assuming you have run the ECU codes already... Nice shells by the way ! B
  15. Sorry to hear that the old one was stolen. I hate thieves, as I'm sure you do also. While a tune up is probably in order (check parts first), look in the Garage/How To section. There will be write ups about checking the ECU codes and how to clean the MAF sensor. This is a good, free place to start diagnostics. Let us know what you find. B
  16. What is new about a 22+ month old post ? Where is the glory ? B
  17. I like everything about it other than 1 fact. That it is located in the front corner, an extremely weak and vulnerable place. Any number of mishaps could endanger it. I'd much rather be able to drive away from something after crowbaring the fender away from the tire rather than trying to figure out how to repair critical oil lines. You get the point. Maybe I'm overdoing it, but thats my thoughts. B
  18. Que quiere Cabron ? No me gusta jugar con hijos... B
  19. I think it would be useless unless the truck is stock. But it would be easier just to put a cage in. Or not roll it. If the first dodge didn't work, just ram it... B
  20. I'm guessing Simon is the good cop... Now get back to the PoHo thread where you belong ! B
  21. It seems like it is basically just A$$hat indicator, but there are nifty little things to do like have all of your posts previewed by me, suspending your ability to post, etc... Shall we play ? B
  22. Funny, I never planned to be a 3rd grade teacher, yet here I am, doing the same thing. Wheee !!! Hmm, maybe we should experiment with the warning bars... B
  23. And the purpose of this A$$hattery is... ?? B
