Yeah, no problem, just let me know... Are you talking about the DRO (digital read out X,Y and maybe Z axis) on a manual mill or some sort of a CNC controler? Either way, it can be done fairly easily but arcs will be problematical on a manual machine. I'm assuming the vast majority of your pieces are straight/angled edges. You may be able to cut the pieces out on a vertical band saw and then just use the mill to trim/clean up the edges and make them nice and straight. I'm sure the HM will be able to show you all the little tricks to make it simple. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask though! B

2.25" seems the most common. 2" would work and there is an on going arguement over if 2.5" is too big. I plan to use my 2.25" SST Magnaflow cat back with headers and a high flow cat. Let the opinions roll... B

I agree with this. My LSD grabs hard and has given me moments of mind boggling thrills when I wasn't careful, just on wet pavement with BGF AT's... The other side of it is With little offroading and occasional snow, 4x4 isn't very important.... I live in Cali and have had a 4x4 for 15 years. Do I need one? Not really. Do I insist on having one? Yes... Yes, that is contradictory. B

It's called job perks. If my boss ever questioned me picking up a $5 piece of metal and putting it in my truck, I'd ask him how that compares to $ I save the company every day with my innovations... (laymans terms "Kiss My Ass!!") If it comes down to that, I have a good CAD program... I'm not an expert, but I can get it done. B

Well, you have hit upon the key. If you don't wheel much, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 2wd. Better gas milage and fewer parts to repair/replace is also a bonus. This is something I'd consider though; does the X have LSD rear differential or how much would it cost you to put a locker in it? That would give you the best of both worlds... I know where you are coming from. You know what you want, but sometimes good deals on something close are hard to pass up. BTW, I doubt you will get much of a trade in for the WD21. You may want to consider a private sale; consider it when they tell you what the old Pathy is 'worth'. B

My understanding is that the MAF either works or it doesn't. The wiring, however, can be intermittent. B

Ahh, good that he let you do the plugs. Ohms I would believe, amps not so much. Congrats on having your truck back and running well. B

I don't know people in that area, sorry. Try calling a steel supplier, they may have basic fabbing services in house or ask who they would recommend. Good Luck Bud. B

I would think a plugged cat is a plugged cat, regardless of the temp. Have you run the ECU codes yet? Sorry, but it's something I have learned to remind people of... B

I seemed to remember there was some difference, perhaps the tranny spline interface? All need to be determined before I stash the parts, but I have some time before that happens. Still, if you have info I'm wrong about, I'd love to hear it!! B

As far as I know, Mr Jim (the founder) still pays the bill. There was a short time that a member was funding it (ThankS) but that was due to a billing error. Thank you very much for the thought and consideration, but the Mod and Admin of the site have been monitoring the situation and everything is fine, with contingency plans in place. Hopefully, it will never come to a general collection to support the site, but rest assured, you are not the only one who would step forward. I'm sure I speak for everyone else who helps keep this site viable when I say enjoy your savings and please pass any learned information onto others. That and the general spirit of good will is what keeps this forum as strong as it is. We couldn't do it with out you!! B

Must be a TBI thing. Both my coolant sensors are right before the thermostat, neatly lined up and easily accessable. B

I know you said you checked it, but I still lean towards the ignition switch. Did you take off the covers check the contacts/wiring and all that? Have you read the thread (by jws? I think) that was in the garage a few weeks ago? It was specifically about an ignition issue and how it was fixed. Here... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19858 B

Hey Red, here are your supplies the next time you have to mount a battery, shock or seat... B

You really may want to get better clarification before you dump $850. Electronics are a weak point of mine, but I don't know of any sensor inside the engine other than what is just screwed into the block and I'm willing to bet that if you had 120 amps flowing to the ECU your butt would have been on fire... The rebuilds don't necessarily work well or long. As for auto to manual swap, no, it's not THAT hard. A lot of work, yes... You really need a donor vehicle though or you will get nickel and dimed to death. I just bought another 95xe and this one is an auto that has been rebuilt. Do I trust it? NO!!! I'll be pulling the manual tranny from the old 95 and setting it aside along with everything else required (Petal assembly, MC, lines, slave cylinder, drive shaft, clutch parts, flywheel, shifters, console, etc) B

"catylitic converter" The first stage of exhaust filtering required in most areas of North America to try to reduce vehicle emmisions. Translation: Helps keep the air cleaner. B
-
No, I don't believe it would be easier at all. Only a few people have pulled the motor and tranny as a unit, and I still don't understand why they did... As for a 200 dollar tranny, that may be hard to find, especially if it was gaurenteed to be functional. Probably your best bet is to buy a crashed/blown motor/rotted frame Pathy and swap everything over to make it a manual tranny drive. B
-
Hey, welcome back Rami!! Is your tranny manual or auto? If it is manual, yeah, pull it and take it to a shop to see about a rebuild. If it's an auto, throw it in the trash and find a manual from a wreck... B

DAMN DUDE!!! We are trying to help and doing a good job. How about you go to the web site and look? Those answers are found in 5 minutes... Fair enough, thats just his login here so the name stuck... B

Buy one already!!! (good luck) B

I thought you were in college... B

Well, I'm quite interested in that... just teasing you... sort of... I'd ignore 8,9 and 10 for now; it's not necessary by a long shot. If 1-7 are done, kiss mom and start saving so you can do her right on her B-day/Mothers day. B

Yep, go with a high flow it is available to you. Hopefully it won't cost too much regardless of what you choose. Sorry we weren't any closer with our diagnosis, but it is hard when you are not there with the truck... B
