Very good points, I completely agree. The wider the rim with the same back spacing, the more torque it has on the hardware. That's why I plan to run 31x10.5" on 8" rims and if i ever went with 33" tires, they would have to be 10.5" wide... B

So I bought this today, just because it was there and I plan to make a meatloaf this week so it may come in handy... Besides, it is bacon!!! I did find something for Pezzy though... Gimme a kiss!! B

Search is not useless, just uncooperative. In short, it sucks, but you can get it to work somewhat. Again, like Nunya said... Yeah, I hear the fuel filler hose can be a biatch. I didn't really deal with it as I installed the 2" lift. B
-
Sorry, but I have to say it. Search, this has been talked about many times. That said, whatever you use, watch out for your hootus!! B

^x2 The drain in mine was a joke and just let out a dribble. I ended removing the bottom radiator hose also... B
-
If you rotate the upper hose (side kink pointing down at an angle) it should work fine. It did with my 2" lift and I remember people saying the same thing with the 3" lift. I cut the bottom radiator hose down by about 1.5" on the engine side, but some people swear that you don't have to. To sum it up, the stock hoses can be made to work easily. I swear this was discussed recently. Did you search?? B

I agree, most won't recommend it... I had 31x10.5" on the 6" rims and they were pinched; no way would I put 32x11.5" tires on them!! B
-
I believe the ideal width for 12.5" wide tires is 10". 8"rims will pinch the tire slightly, I don't recommend that. This site will show you suggested rim size per tire size. Select from the list on the right... http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires...coverer-stt.htm B

Grand Cherokee Springs in the rear
Precise1 replied to 94pathfinder's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
He's talking about coil springs... B -
That still seems high though, both my pathys stay at about 1/3 no matter what; rain, shine, AC, ice, 100 degrees, etc... Maybe the sender unit is off?? B

There were a couple of threads here that had some plans and/or dimensions. I'll see if I can find them. B

I'm not going to color code the bolts, but yes, the 90-95 4 door WD21s have a different (larger) rear bolt set than the 87-90 2 door WD21s. I'm pretty sure it is listed above. M12x1.25? 150mm for the 2" lift, 180mm for the 3" lift? B

'95 4x4 Pathfinder - Several Questions
Precise1 replied to DoctorBill's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
One thing I don't see present is the coolant bypass hose. It is highly recommended to replace this at the same time... Solution: Move... B -
Everything but the welding... B

1)The EGR is probably partially clogged or not functioning correctly. I can't remember, isn't it vacuum actuated? I'll have to check later today. 2) The bolt pattern is 6x5.5" and stock BS is 3.75" 4" should work fine also. 3) I seriously doubt it. It almost sounds like the timing belt has jumped a tooth... 4) See above, this would cut down on power. Remember, these trucks are only rated at 155ish HP... 5) With proper maintenance, the VG30e should last at least 250,000 miles. I've heard of as much as 500,000+ miles!! B

need more power for my pathy,,,, vortex?,,,chip?
Precise1 replied to shane's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
There have been many threads on this so I suggest you search for them. The short and sweet answer is Jim wolf will tweek your ECU once your mods have been installed and that is about your only option in that route. k9sar has outlined the reality of it all. B -
Very interesting!! Some one mentioned bronze replacement bushings for the IA and my response was that I should make some up out of oil-lite bronze (self lubricating). The price you quoted ($50+S&H) is insane for something like that!! I can get material for $6-8 per bushing and the machining work is quick and simple, even on a hand lathe. The price should be $15-20 max!! Sorry, didn't mean to thread jack. I should start another one somewhere... B

I had not heard that nor did I know the radiator is different. I'm not going to gamble though... B Rock auto shows the same radiator for 1990 and 1995, but this doesn't mean that its the same for oem.

Sounds ok, but it shouldn't go up when you are moving (under normal conditions). Makes me wonder if they burped the cooling system... B
-
Damn, I just sent out 2 good units Saturday... B

Ok, but I was curious as to which ratio of the two available in NA you had, and yes, the VTEC kicks in @ 4k rpm. Is it pinging? Predetonation under load like when accelerating, passing or up hill? B

I'm going to apply some tomorrow. The PO did the brakes and the front sing at about 10 mph when slowing down. It is very annoying... B
