  1. No worries. Like I said, if I run across one with low miles and good price, I'll have 2 VG30Es for sale... B
  2. Yes, it uses the VG33 crank, that's the first thing mentioned. Sounds like the 4-5 things changed is all that is needed to me... B
  3. Exactly. 27mm=1.06299". 1.0625"=1&1/16" B
  4. Ok, sorry, it took me a while to set up the pictures... The system is now in place so these threads will be self hosted so information is not lost. Thanks for playing and your efforts to record How To's is greatly appreciated. B
  5. Ok, I understand now. Good luck, and please do share what you wind up doing!! B
  6. Yes, exactly. My ARB mounts on the tow hook threaded holes on the underside of the frame and the stock bumper mounts on the inside of the engine bay. B
  7. $1500 and it is undrivable?? That's really pushing it... I'm sure that is the highball price, $500-1000 is about right but I haven't even seen it. B
  8. As for the arcing, I have had my first pathy run without a center electrode in the distributor cap. It arced from the spring down to the rotor, and I'm pretty sure it would have shocked me had I touched the cap... B
  9. Damn, I keep doing that!! Why doesn't everyone drive WD21s?? B
  10. Exactly, and the topic is pinned int the Garage section, perhaps under How To... B
  11. Pulxar, the trick to posting many photos is to split them up into several different posts. I don't know the limit of pictures per post, but is something like 6 to 8. I'll read your write up tonight, I have the feeling that this will be something that should be pinned. Another bonus of going with the 3.3 is the 105k mile timing belt interval but I don't think the oil filter is in a much better spot though... B Very Nice!! I'm going to remember this if I ever run across a VG33 motor. I'd like to see how it runs with headers and a snorkel... Feel free to email me the write up and pictures and I will make sure they are properly hosted and pinned.
  12. As was said, find the source of the leak. If it is that bad, it should be easy... B
  13. Counter lock two nuts on the end of the stud and then turn the lower one out like you would with a bolt head. Sometimes you have to hold both with a wrench, keeping counter tension, but it is simple and usually painless... B
  14. Yeah, but did you rehost the pictures in NORPA's account for posterity?? Well, it's going to be the W word soon so I'm slowly numbing myself... B
  15. Yes, those will fit (90-04 pathys, I believe). Thanks for reminding me to call them... They are backordered through April like everyone else I have talked to. For 1/2 the price of the Warns for a truck that won't leave the pavement, I'll wait... B
  16. Good job, good write up and thanks for sharing!! I recently installed the same hubs on my WD21 but used bolts as there have been complaints about about the Warn studs failing, so keep an eye on them!! The WD21 autolocking hubs almost fit on the R50, just missing some locking tabs so I'm waiting for the Mile Markers to install on the Fiances 99 R50. B
  17. Either leaking injectors or a faulty fuel pressure regulator that is way over pressurizing the fuel system. Check the pressure first as it doesn't require a lot and will settle that question. B
  18. Crank angle sensor or whatever in the dizzy?? B
  19. Check the ECU for codes first. Not sure yet after that. I know the wiring connection to my TPS has issues, perhaps you have something of the same. Wiggle every connector you have with the engine running and listen for change... B
  20. I haven't the slightest about what it would take. Why not just replace with another 2 door interior?? Parting out vehicles is not uncommon... B Sorry, I just saw the "Australia", I have no idea of spares availability there...
  21. No worries, that's how you learn... B
  22. You must be confusing something, because you only have one idler arm (on the outside passenger frame horn). Are you confusing the pitman arm (off of the steering box) or the tie rods in the centerlink? B
  23. Go to Firestone and get thir life time alignment. If you use it twice, it paid for it's self. I will have used mine 3 times in 6 months now. Hmm, is that what it is?? Both of my trucks have done this though... B
  24. LOL, I knew it was someone with a monster rig... B
