How does a lifetime warranty work on a set of tires? Lifetime of the tire (Warranty valid as long as the tire holds air? in which case, a puncture will void it), lifetime of the owner (warranty valid as long as purchaser is breathing), lifetime of the vehicle (warranty valid as long as vehicle is running)... I've always wondered about "Lifetime" warranties....

Those should come off in favor of a skidplate anyhow, though.

The different names are different plates. Champion - Front skid - replaces the splash guard Defender - Oil pan/Tranny skid Stealth - T-Case skid Either way you slice it, you're going to have to remove the front skid/splash guard to change the oil filter. The Defender has some drainage holes in it already, and it's shaped in such a way that you can successfully change the oil without removing it. Does help a lot to loosen it up a bit though.

Damn Right! I actually did all three, crankcase, fuel and brake booster. With the freshy cleaned MAF, new air filter, and freshly seafoamed engine, my truck runs GREAT! Now...to get those damn brakes done and it'll stop great, too!

Yes, There are two stickers there, one is tire information containing recommended pressures and sizes. The other is the vehicle information tag, it's got your VIN, axle code, date of manufacture, GVWR and several other bits of info.

Update: I went to clean my JWT filter (made by K&N) as it was really dirty...noticed the MAF screen was covered in a fine film of fine dust. I cleaned the MAF sensor, and it cured my idle and running rich problems. Conclusion: If you take your truck off-road, or live in an area where you're prone to dust, or drive through a construction zone frequently, DO NOT USE an oiled filter - K&N or otherwise, panel or cone as they will let fine particulates through. I put my airbox back in and a Fram Tough Guard air filter (as it's supposed to block more crap than the sandard Fram). I was going to put the airbox back on anyways in preparation for the Snorkel, but it's NOT a good idea to run an oiled type filter.

Does the backlight for the gauges work? Check your fuses, in the panel at the dash, and underhood. If that's not it, it's possible the electrical connections worked themselves loose from the back of the panel.

I dont know how much I pay for gas. I put my card in the machine, and pump till it stops. Look at the gallons purchased, hop in, calculate my avg economy, reset the trip odometer, and drive off. I find that if I pay attention to gas prices, it pisses me off.

Tecci, 265/70/16s will not fit with a stock suspension. Those are a 31.8x11" tire - or roughly about the size of most 32x11.50s (only a little narrower). However, 265/70/15 is a stock tire size for the SE Pathfinders with 15x7" rims. Those are a 30.8x10.3" tire - or roughly, a 31x10.50. Now, a 265/75/16 is approximately a 33x11" tire. That won't come close to fitting with a stock suspension or with stock wheels.

If you're only looking for increased winter performance, and your current tires fill your needs in everything but snow, why not look into getting a second set of cheapo steel rims and some snow tires like the Blizzaks? I know they make the Blizzaks in LT sizes. This might cost a little more up front, but there's the peace-of-mind thing that goes along with it. Also, I had the BFG A/Ts on my Pathy, and even in the Rochester Winters, they chugged right along through the snow. I actually had to work hard on them to get the truck to do donuts. With my M/Ts, it'll pull through the deep stuff with ease, and it's very very very stable in the shallow stuff in 4WD, but in 2WD, on the wet slick stuff, it's downright scary.

It's actually not that tight at all. I've got 2 4ga wires, a 0ga wire and several 10ga wires running through it. Yes...I did have to lube up the 0ga with some KY Jelly (It's what I had available, shut up!) to get it to go through, but it did. Hell, with that stuff, I bet you could park a Sedan Deville in a dog house!

However, if you wait for a little while, there will be another set of sliders to choose from. They'll rival the Roger Sliderz in quality, if not blow them out of the water like the rest of the products from this company, and be priced somewhere between the RB and Rocky Road stuff.

I'm assuming those are Canadian prices, Red...so really....its like $34.
