No, they are not a direct swap. In a nutshell, you're going to have to grind a couple spots on the casing, and swap pulleys.
-
My $250 quote included everything. I had to go to the dealer to get the boots, which were $14 each. The buckets were reused because they were good, the bearings were part of the mount assembly, as were the bolts, etc.

The VG30 Quest alternators are 110A, the VG33 Quest alternators are 125A.
-
Well, then, you got ripped off. I was quoted all of $250 for both sides, everything I needed to install the struts (except struts and coils) from my local dealers (all 3). Tire Rack sells the strut mounts for under $50 each.

If your 4-lo is too low for you, that means your truck can do more B!

wacky guages, dim lights no stereo --alt or batt?
vengeful replied to SteeevO's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
In RE to nycxice and SteevOs posts about stereo equipment... I worked in an install shop for just shy of 2 years (had to leave because I was relocating out of state, that sucked, I loved that job). We stopped carrying RF stuff because we were having so much of it returned because it would keep breaking - or people would change their mind and decide they wanted that JL Amp, or those MB Quart Components. Yes, RF is decent stuff....among the best of the garbage you'll find at BestBuy or Circuit City, but it is just that, middle of the road, standard stuff. There's nothing special about it. Now, if you had told me you had MB Quart Component Speakers, McIntosh Amps, Alpine or Eclipse head unit and Earthquake Powered EQ, then I would be impressed. -
I think 100. Not sure. Aaron??

I was thinking more like 75 posts and 6 months. I don't think we have 12 members over 1000 posts. Edit: Ok...so maybe we have 23..stfu.

How about saying "Established members" in place of Official members? Established member = a forum member who has been here for a certain amount of time with at least a certain number of posts.

OK, but in order to incorporate October, November and December's Winners, we have to wait until they are decided, which is the end of November or December.... Then figure on time to lay out the calendar, get them approved, get them printed, and shipped, and you're looking at March, 2007 delivery for a 2007 calendar. Kinda weak on the first few months for that case.... I say if we're going to do anything, we do a yearly members calendar, where Official NPORA members each submit one picture of their truck, and have a voting site set up where people can vote for their favorite 12 trucks/pictures. Then the top 12 are featured in the calendar in a logical progression based on time of year picture was taken, etc.

Yah, just make it go, and track the little bugger by ear.
-
That would be kind of cool, but the 2006 one wouldn't be out until like March of 2007.
-
It appears to be mostly surface rust. If that's the case, it's not of too much concern to me. How long do you plan on keeping this vehicle?
-
Luker! Don't say things like that in public!!! You're liable to give Aaron a woodie!!
-
You're right Andrew...you're about as cool as the letter zero.

They increase the low-range gear reduction for slower crawling speeds. For a pavement pounder, there's no reason to get them.

Whoever told you that has never been off-road is either a liar or mistaken. That is not the factory splash guard, but a steel skid plate up front. That dent in it scares me. The plastic splash guard wouldn't have rust around the edges where the paint/powdercoating came off. Looks like the AC skidplate. Looking at the interior pics, and reading your intro, I can see what caught your eye...it was the "carbon fiber" dash trim, right?
-
AC has FINALLY released their T-Case gears. Once I get the cash, I'm ordering these and my locker. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/i...16bfa7610ecd773 These will work in ANY V6 Pathfinder with the TX-10 Transfer Case - WD21 and R50.

Done

My truck must be the only Pathfinder ever built without a transponder key then. Justin....you probaby do not have a transponder key.

I've got two similar stories. Rewind to 1994 - My mom locked the keys in her 1991 Dodge Caravan. We flag down another Caravan owner, and tried their key, it worked. Fast forward to last winter. Jeff in his 2005 Xterra Off-Road, Scott in his 2000 Dagger Xterra Special, and Micah in his 2001 Xterra are wheeling in NY. It's cold, they have the windows closed and heaters running. Jeff brought Blu (his Black Lab puppy along for the ride as a playmate for Dagger, Scotts dog). They get out to scout an obstacle, and when they get back, Blu had hit the power lock button and locked the 05. They freaked out, tried Scotts key in the door and it didnt work, so they started to think about what do to and were like, ok, we're going to have to walk out. Just as they were about to walk out, Micah tries his key in the 05, and presto, door unlocks. There are only so many possible tumbler configurations you can have with a given key length. Figure the average car key is about 2-2.5 inches in length (the toothey part). Then figure the average tumbler is about 1/10th of an inch, and you can only have so many possible configurations. It is not physically possible to create a unique key to each vehicle, especially for the door locks. Ignition, yes, you can have a transponder in the key to send a signal to the ignition to tell the vehicle it's OK to start - but those are usually only on very expensive vehicles, Lexus, Mercedes, etc.
-
Nope. Don't run them. Never had a problem. I keep all the heavy crap in my truck down low to keep the C.G. as low as possible to reduce body roll.
-
Are you talking about the door/seatbelt chime? Or the beep of the horn when you lock your doors?
-
Sure thing...it's in my profile.
