This was only about 30 degrees. I've had it at 40+. Realistically, you'll feel like you're going to fall out the window before you're going to be close to tipping. 40+ is pretty freaky. You're definitely in the "pucker zone" there. Shortly after that pic was taken, the front drivers dropped into a hole, and the rear passenger came about 2' off the ground...then it was at like 38-40 and felt more stable than when the pic was taken...

Sounds like your control arm bushings are shot. Quite typical. Do a search for trailing arm, or control arm bushings. There's a lot of information here.

Got a little update from a buddy of mine who just bought one of these... They are definitely T-Max winches. Summit makes no attempt to cover that up except for slapping a sticker on the solenoid box. The Instruction booklet even says T-Max on it. What are your impressions so far MWS?

Take every preventative precaution that you can to extend the life of your tranny. External cooler, Transmisison oil temperature gauge, synthetic fluid, etc...I have done all of these except for the gauge (which is coming in time), and my truck, at 115k miles, does not exhibit many of the common transmission issues that other Pathfinders of the same vintage are exhibiting. I bought my T-cooler from Advance Auto Parts. I bought the biggest one they carried (bigger = more efficient cooling, more efficient cooling = cooler fluid, cooler fluid = longer life). It ran me about $40-50. Very cheap investment when you consider a rebuild or replacement transmission can run anywhere from $800-$3000.

I would recommend it. If you can find a tire shop that has a 15x8 w/ 3.75" backspacing and they're willing to test mount the rim on your truck, by all means, do that. Then you'll know for sure. I know that some people have put 15x8s on their 2001s, and I can't imagine that the brakes are that much different on the 2003s. I do not recall what wheels they were, but not all 15x8s have the same internal clearance. I suggest trying it out for yourself. I think that the US Wheels (same one's I have) MIGHT work. I'm not 100% sure though.

It depends on the wheel, however, I am inclined to say "probably not."

You will need to install a trailer wiring harness so the lights on the trailer work. It is highly recommended that you install a transmission cooler, anyways....even if you do not plan on towing. I installed one when I first got my truck (at appx 40k miles), and now have 115k on my original transmission, use synthetic oil, and after the last change (which was a 65k mile interval, the oil looked only mildly used. And I abuse the piss out of my truck!

Actually, it wouldn't affect mileage at all. Using Premium in an engine designed for regular is simply wasting money. There is no reason to. BTW...Nice sig

Well...Calmini parts have been known for poor workmanship. Every single Calmini part I've ever seen has, at the very least, had the powdercoating flaking off upon reciept from shipment. I ordered a set of lift shackles for a Frontier as a gift for a good friend of mine. They charged my card the next day...2 weeks later, no shackles, I call them up...Uh...your order was cancelled. I said...bull@!*%! You charged my credit card! Send me my effing shackles, or give me my money back, or I'm going to call my attorney. The guy said, we can't refund your money if the order has been cancelled, so we'll ship out the shackles to you. 3 weeks later, they showed up...well, sorta. There was only 1 shackle in the box and there was no hardware, and it was only half powder-coated. I called them back up, and they tried to say it was my fault that they screwed up shipping it. Then when I explained that these were purchased as a gift for a good friend of mine who was being deployed and it was very important to have these on before he left, which had already happened, the guy changed the subject and was like...well, if its not for your truck, what do you drive, and blah blah blah....so I told him, and he goes....oh, only people with small <word>s drive those! I mailed him the piece of garbage that he shipped me, along with a court order to send me my money back, along with any and all shipping and phone charges I incurred. Called SLR, ordered the parts, they arrive 4 days later and were 100x better quality and much much nicer than the Crapmini sh**.

It's a very long story, and I'll send it to ya this evening when I get home from work.

I am NOT jealous....you haven't heard about my experiences with that joke of a company. I would never buy anything from them, or recommend that anyone do. Goodyear doesn't offer a lifetime alignment. That's Firestone.

99.9999999999999999% of the "Gas Savers" you see on TV, eBay, the net are crocks. The funny thing about that, is that when the fuel passes through the fuel injector nozzles, it gets ionized anyways.

Except not really. The TJM bumpers don't exist anymore, and the only R50 ARB is $1200. Dealer retail for a new factory bumper is like $400.
