That's the way it is with me generally, but here's a lil tip. Stick the plug wire (after you blow it off with compressed air and clean out the contact back) down into the hole right after you removed #6 if it's going to be more than a minute between removal and install of the new plug. I've "lost" the #6 hole before, and that helped me relocate it. :idea: It also helps with getting the proper angle on the spark plug so you dont cross-thread the hole.

I wouldn't wait much longer on that timing belt. You may be a little short now to spend $300 doing it (and yes, you can do it yourself, its not very hard, just time consuming and tedious), but what happens when the t-belt lets go in 50 miles, 500 miles, 5000 miles and you need to buy a whole new engine?

I've driven through 4 feet of water with my JWT Pop-Charger. Access road to the beach house was flooded, had no choice. Did just fine. Was a lil damp, but it didn't affect the engine.

Mattie....I'm going to echo what Cuong said and say that they SHOULD work, and you will probably have to drill or bore a couple holes to make them fit perfectly. And of course, if that's not an option, I suppose you could always sell them off or return them, and chalk it up as a learning experience.

Ahh, yeah, I'm going to say that it's much more likely that the problems you're experiencing are due to worn out shocks, and bushings rather than springs.

They are 2" lowering springs. They dont sell many of them, and they're made to order. Yes, you can get OEM replacement springs, but they'll be more expensive than the drop springs. Also, if it seems to be bobbing and swaying, the culprit is most likely your rear control arm (aka link) bushings. How many miles are on your truck, and where are you located?

I've had over 1000lbs of stuff in my truck, and a 4500lb trailer (500lb tongue), drove about 400 miles, no problems. Used a LOT of gas and took a while, but it made it.

Ryan is right. The 90 Model year 2-doors had the VG30e, as well instead of the VG30i. They are very rare, but they're out there.

Acutally the shocks for lifting applications are just replacement shocks (except the Ranchos, as they are made for a different vehicle, because they don't have a specific R50 application), and aren't extended at all, and would work fine with the lowering springs.

I did..... Waterpump T-belt cam seals oil change coolant flush quest alt swap accessory belts ...in one day. Granted I was working from 7:30AM till about 8PM with a few breaks...

VQ35....it's a 2001. $300 aint terrible. Seems every time I took my truck to the stealer it was $750+. Then again, that was only twice when my mechanic couldn't do it.
