Failed miserably trying to aquire ball joints. Went to Advanced Auto and the kid was pretty useless. Got the ball joint for the 87 but the bolt pattern was different. Checked the Hardbody and the same part no. came up. Was late to meet wife and kids for school function so I didn't have time to try everything. Have to find a part store with a more knowledgeable staff. Last time I went to this one they were quite helpful. Good to know. I had a tooth capped and the dentist got testy with me about whether or not I was feeling pain. I was mad b/c it was my mouth and I was feeling it. I thought he was just being cheap and trying to increase his profit margin by going easy on the novicane. If what you posted is true perhaps he was trying to save me from nerve damage. either way all is fine. no side effects.

I bought some AC UCA's. Plan to take them to Advanced Auto tommorrow for fit. I hope the ball joints replace in kind. Get crazy and remove back seat, install two small bucket seats with a vertical gunrack between the two. Then that's pretty much in the 5yr olds lap. If you hang hooks from roof with barrels pointed out the back, you'd still bang your head on the stock at every pothole. btw nice guns are they semi's? They look like they have some pump action.

oxy moron - I would go with out of sight out of mind. build a shallow false floor in cargo area and match carpet so it's hidden. Use a padlock that can only be accessed with the hatch open and don't tell anyone. How are concealed weapon laws where you are? As long as the box is locked and out of reach from driver you should be exempt.

I wasn't satisfied with my friends answer so I had to ask more questions... and the response... Funny coming from a girl whom I have never heard swear or say balls for that matter.

Welcome, Frame rot is the biggest, all vehicles over 100k have issues. For 2k with easy miles you should only have the usual maintenance stuff to look at. Might want to see how the front suspension is holding up. Turn hard at low speed listen for pops & stuff.
