next time try changing cap last. change the plugs and wires one at a time in order attaching them to the old cap. Then put the new wires on the new cap one at a time in the same order. Remove old cap and install new with wires already attached in correct order. This will save you ever getting them confused. I had a trouble figuring how to get rotor off, didn't notice the screw on the back holding it on. Will try to find that post and send you a link.

Failed miserably trying to aquire ball joints. Went to Advanced Auto and the kid was pretty useless. Got the ball joint for the 87 but the bolt pattern was different. Checked the Hardbody and the same part no. came up. Was late to meet wife and kids for school function so I didn't have time to try everything. Have to find a part store with a more knowledgeable staff. Last time I went to this one they were quite helpful. I bought some AC UCA's. Plan to take them to Advanced Auto tommorrow for fit. I hope the ball joints replace in kind. What do you think about flex hose? Not sure if 3 or 4 long radius would fit. there is more restrictions in short radius. It is probably a wash between a 3" long radius and 4" short radius. A true 90 coming out of the air box might not line up with your exit point. I would do flex me personally just for ease of fabrication.

What are you trying to accomplish? looks or practicality. if you get in water past your window the snorkel will only solve one of your many problems. I like the one that clears the hood by 4-6" because it has less restrictions and it gives you protection from water that might roll over your hood. You are a sik individual if you want to get in deeper water than that!

Jacked up the parts car, the cable from the e-brake is keeping me from getting the hub off. Plan on using sawsall after lunch. The rear from the parts car is LSD mine is open. Hope there's no difference in the hubs, don't know a lot about rear ends. There is a shaft that sticks into the rear, I would like to only change the piece with the good studs on it. Hope its not too complicated after I get it off. Anyone know if the shaft comes off too?

Yes, I sold my Hood and driver side fender from a '95 to guy with a hardbody. It was a '90 or '91 iirc.
