  1. His shaft was screwed, you could hold one end and turn the other. Swapped it with the parts car and it's running now. Just when the timing sounds right, when you tighten it down it gets off. Bobby's going to get a timing light tomorrow and nail it down. Thanks for all your help guys, that was the hardest tune up I've ever seen. At least he didn't have to buy a distributor.
  2. your rear door gave me an idea for a new post. Glad I'm not the only one that props there rear door open http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=18794
  3. Edit: WD-40 got the sleeve off, but now the timings off. He was able to get it close enough but needs to be fine tuned.
  4. Just talked to Bobby and he got the rotor off, but the metal sleeve is still on. He's going to try to put some heat on it.
  5. Hope you got her out before it rained.
  6. I don't know Bobby, I took the screw off the rotor button and is slid right off. Did you take the screw all the way out? Maybe it got hot and melted or so some corrosion occured and siezed it to the distributor?
  7. what kind of garden we talkin about?
  8. edit: Are you loosing fluid? When you hold down the brake does it loose resistance? you did say power steering end edit You could check the hoses, I've had to replace mine once. If it's truly leaking like a sieve it should be easy to find the source. BTW< mine is a WD21 don't know how closely it resembles the R50 set-up.
  9. Nice Avatar, post a bigger pic. Have you met Tex? (TerranoNZ) You might be neighbors.
  10. Nice job GG. Now turn those wine glasses the other way and celebrate!
  11. Try this ... http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?s=&amp...st&p=108682 Make sure your grounded,
  12. Time to check on that other lead you have. Maybe they'll change their mind if you quit. Maybe put the brown noser who stole your spot and got them to tell you the more work story back in the office" .
  13. :worthless: It's not worthless, are you still running stock UCA's? Rumor is you can't get good alignment without them because they're too short. I got mine used for $75-100 bucks, can't remember.
  14. Is it cleaner that that kid with the cool avatar a few years back? I forgot his name. WheelmanLS1
  15. I won't let you desecrete Macgyver like that. You didn't even use duct tape!
  16. Thanks for the good info. Bye bye safety hoop
  17. I plan to install lift Friday and Saturday, but running these parts against the parts list, I can't figure what they are called, much less for. I think they are the gas fill extension and brackets for P/Steering. Here is a photo of the parts list, hope it's legible. Thanks for the help. BTW, freight company called 32 BF's delivered today!
  18. I was thinking too if the government estimated how much of the stimulas would be spent on items that are already taxed at least 50% like, booze, cigerettes, and casinos. Then the $600 rebate would only cost the government 300$
  19. Might be local to my culture but Stick the Pathy it getting invested is the same as saying "F" the Pathy I will see if I can make it more understandable Edit: It won't let me edit a Poll, can you change it to Screw the Pathy it's getting invested
  20. I wonder if our Pathy's will see any of the Tax Rebate? Let's hear what your spending yours on. I got some Manual Hubs 3" Lift and 32"BFG Muds not the new K2, but should be sweet. Wife keeps the rest.
  21. My 3" lift came in yesterday. If I had to guess why the 2"BL costs more... I bet A/C only buys 3" Poly spacers and cuts them down to 2" in-house. Therefore you pay for the additional labor and handling. Call and ask they are actually easy to talk to on the phone. I guess I was drinking too much and ordered the lift for the '96 and up. They called me the next day and told me I needed the lift for the WD21 and it would save me $40 bucks. So far so good.
  22. These are the tires I'm looking at getting. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?ma...errain+T%2FA+KM BFG Mud-terrain T/A KM 32X11.5QR15 Raised White Letters Serv. Desc: 113Q Load Rating C I've got some wheels from my parts car, but don't know how wide they are.... The specs say these tires will fit a rim 8" thru 10". Anyone know if these rims fall within that spec. When I get home I'll see what tires are on there now, but I don't think it will tell me how wide the rim is. In short the question is will these fit? BTW 3" lift and manual hubs are in route. time to get serious.
  23. Be glad it's just Josh and not THIS GUY
  24. heh heh hard core I like. if they are the right match for the WD21. I'm all over that. PM me an address for PAYPAL and I'll get you the cash in the morning.
