  1. So im still confused on how to check for water in the diff?? Anyone want to chip in some advise?
  2. Whats the best way to do this, where do I open teh diff and what tools do I need, Im a college and dont have many
  3. I noticed alot later after I went through this water that my diff breather had come undone (water was up past top of running boards at deepest part) But it was noticed after this also occured (after the water crossing, but before I noticed the diff breather was not connected)
  4. Too late for me, i went ahead and just replaced both of them so that with some luck I wont have to do it again for awhile
  5. Yeah man, me being small, had all my weight on it squating down and it came loose and I fell on my @ss, and I rushed up pissed thinking that I had broken something
  6. Problem solved, thanks to Alex, it just feels like in order to fix it you have to break it
  7. So I learned that my turn signal bulb went out today, it still functions and works when the blinker is on, but not when the parking lights are on. Im trying to figure out how to remove the damn thing. I removed the top screw , but it seems like there is something else clipping it in. It looks as if I may need to take the wheel well liner off, if I do, how do you take off the clips so that you can re-install them? Help here would be appreciated, it didnt say anything in the owners manual about how to do it, and a ticket is the last thing I need
  8. Teh only prob that I have with thaty brushguard is that if you get in a wreck it will damage your pathy more then if you didnt have one at all. Just my
  9. ROFL AT THE DISCLAIMER lololololololol Anyways yeah your correct in both those statements
  10. HUH, it kinda sounds wierd idk, I want some noise, I always wondered what it would sound like to put in a G35 Midpipe or 350 exhaust and see what it sounded like. My dads g35 sedan sounds awesome imo.
  11. Yeah the last time I talked to him he had recently bought a Titan witha lift, and yeah im hoping that he will have it shipped by May cause thats when school gets out
  12. Could either of you possible put up a video of what this sounds like? I always wondered what it would sound like
  13. Oh yeah for sure, its just that the friend lives here in texas and my parents recently moved to cali, and the pathy has to stay here in texas for the summer So now I have to find time to build bumpers but also put on that SFD.....speaking of that have you heard anything from alex lately I havent talked to him in awhile
  14. Thats exactly what im talking about, for my bumper im taking influences from KMA, ARB, and TJM, all of which are uber expensive, alon with other bumpers. I mean I dont see the point with paying up to a grand for a bumper when all you are going to do is tear it up and scratch it and stuff. This way I can make a bumper that I like my way, strong, and for most likely under 200 bucks for material. Its what I want and at the price I want...It cant get any better then that
  15. I really dont get what all the hype about the TJM is, I know that im going to get roasted on this, but here is goes anyways....I think that the TJM is ugly STRAIGHT UP
  16. Yes, looks like you and me are on the same page lol. Are you doing any kind of bar up on top?
  17. Thanks everone for putting up pics for mounting options! Im going to go home with Jared some time this semester and we are going to take off the bumper and mess around with options. And Alex, the bumper is not going to be built until summer, cause Jareds house is 3 hours away from school, and my parents moved to cali so yall are going to have to wait, but its most def going to happen!!
  18. So today when I was at the libary studying I figured that I would design a Bumper to build since I dont want to pay gobbs of money to buy one. And here is what I came up with, Its based off of both a friends bumper and the KMA bumper. Front w/o Pre Runner Side w/o Pre Runner Front With Pre Runner Rear With Pre Runner- Notice Cut out for future winch Here is how it will look- A friend built this bumper from scratch and it looks amazing Only questions are how do I mount it, those of you with ARB/KMA bumpers if you have pics of the brackets that would be greatly appreciated if you pm them to me or post them up!!
  19. THAT MOST DEF IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN Look into buying some new struts, I would just lift it if your going so far as to replace the struts. But once you do your struts will actually top out when going over speed bumps and pot holes.
  20. Let me tell you that in my xperience with my Pro Comp ES3k's I love them, and the best part is that i got both of them for the price of just one Rancho shock
  21. Yeah I really like the look of the rubber and sidewall extending past the fender flares, but I really dont want to go with 12.5 because I dont want to stress the steering too much, and a 10 inch wheel dang, i was going to go with 8's
  22. DANG 4.75 backspacing? What wheel is that? Im trying to figure out what the best backspace will be once I get the sfd and 33 inch KM2's keeping in mind that im getting 10.5's
