Well yes of course you bring friends with you!!!! Share the off road fun!!!! But in terms of safety its a mix...most of the time when you are on relatively easy trails i have my head out the window looking at stuff for wheel placement and stuff, but as soon as it gets more of a hill then I come inside and buckle up. Reguardless the passenger should always be wearing a seatbelt. In terms of kids I dont know what you would do, no experience in that field and I dont want any, any time soon. And just go for it, there is only one way to find out the limits of your rig off road, to just go out there and do it!!

The only other concern that i would have with the Eagle wheels is the durability on the trail, I have been told that the finish is easier to damage, and scrape up. And it wont hurt my feelings as much if I damage a steelie over a alloy wheel, I could replace 2 steelies for the price of 1 of those eagle alloy wheels. And the 52lbs thing, I only weigh 146 lbs, so what I dont have in body weight gets replaced by cheaper heavier wheels

My bad dude, I thought that it would be a isolated problem with me, because 5 or so years of my pathys life were spent up north with all the salt and winter conditions, you...being in cali I didnt think that you would have a problem. And in terms of sway, I didnt realize any difference in handling, and my sway bars are still on, check and make sure everything is tight

If they didnt cost the same as what 2 steelies are, then I would get those wheels...but hey im cheap

This same thing happened to me when I took off my bumpstops, What i wound up doing was to drill out the rest of the bolt...its not that long, then went and found another bolt that would fit in the bumpstop and tapped out the hole with a tap and dye set, you can get those at home depot or lowes for pretty cheap. I would not advise drving around with out them, get it done right the first time so that you dont have to go back and do it all over again

So im sill going to go with a 33x12.5x17 BFG KM2 once i get my sfd and thats going to be plenty, leaving plenty of room for flex also

Well the removal of one side was very easy, and taking them apart and putitng the new spring on the strut is quite simple. The problem that I had, was that my pathy was up north for 5 years and all that salt screwed some stuff up. I could not break the bolts loose on the left side. Also I managed to strip the @!*% out of one of the bolts for the sway bar. I wound up having to take it to a shop where they cut off the bolt and also put on the new struts and did a alignment. And I got the AC 2in lift springs

What I did was jack up on the diff and then place jack stands under the rear door and then release the jack. This will allow the axle to drop all the way down. Once I did that I fit a socket through the spring and unbolted the bumpstop to allow the spring to slide out easier. And you will need a spring compressor for this job, maybe not to get them out, but to get the new ones in you do. Here are some pics of what we did. In the first pic you can see where we put the jack stands.

I usually use just 87 cause its cheap. But every now and then i put in super premium..it just makes it feel like it runs better, and also use it when i need to race someone Its how I roll

Damn only a 150 bucks for that basket thats damn cheap, and im going to go with everone else here, Hella's have the best of both worlds, good price and performance
