Hey Brock welcome to NPORA i think that you have made a awesome choice to go with a Pathfinder! All of us here love our rigs. Heres what i got- a 01 LE with the VQ3.5 V6, and 86k miles on it. I love it I havent had any problems with it at all, only the power valve screw issue- which was a easy fix. If you are getting a pathy i would first off reccomend getting the 3.5 instead of the 3.3, because its so much more powerful...and the same engine as in the G35 and it's a amazing engine- and very reliable and the change from going to the G to the Pathy wont be as bad- My dad has a 06 G35 sedan (Amazing car)...anyways you can avoid the issue of the power valve screws by geting a manual trans because the engines dont have the screws. Also i have the LE which has the "All Mode" 4wd system, its not worth it, try and get a manual trans case if you can, but the benefit of having the LE is the heated leather and if you get snow then that means cold and nothing feels better then a heated seat on a cold day Good luck on finding a pathy to own- or check the vehicles for sale thread as there might be one there for you- Nissandoms has a sweet truck for sale with a very rare lift on it- CUSTOM

Hey dude Im surprised that you couldnt find any info on where to get a lift but here is a direct link to the site that sells them https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/index.php?...h=435_437_341_8 There are several packages that you can choose from, but I built my own kit, I just got the lift springs, KYB Front Struts, manual hubs, and camber alignment kit from AC And for the rear I went to 4wheelparts and got some ES3000 shocks they were 82 dollars for both rear shocks, instead of 69 for each shock on AC's website and they work great and give a really good ride and perform well. If you get the ES3000's you have to get the ones that fit on a Explorer as anyothers will not fit correctly. I dont know if you want front struts spacers or not, I have just the suspension lift now and I notice no sag in the front at all, and I didnt get spacers because im getting a Sub-frame drop lift but here is a site for 1 inch spacers, i dont know if they are still making them or not but you can check into it. http://www.nx4industries.com/r50susp.html Good luck and have fun with the lift....you will love it

Well I think that you should keep the pathy you have now and use it as a everyday driver, that has style!!!! And turn that WD you have into a SFA beater, one that you can haul or drive up to the trails and drive the crap out of and then tow it back with a rig that you know works well, and wont let you down. You have a sick pathy now, alot better then the average pathy so keep it

Hey Chris now I have a question for you, what is the original hub to fender measurements with stock everything, as I forgot to measure before I put on my lift Andrew

So I was driving today and it was the fastest I have been going about 70mph since the lift. While going that fast a annoying humm comes on sounding like its coming from the rear axle? It is really worrying me because I am due to drive about 4 hours tomorrow at highway speeds. I tried to re enguage the hubs, put it back into and out of 4WD but neither of those seemed to have any effect on the sound. Also when accelerating and letting off the gas pedal there is a pop as if something is popping in and out of place. Its coming from the drivers side rear quarter panel, buy the gas tank lid. I dont know what to think of this is it just because im not used to the lift yet and it is normal for a lifted pathy or what, but im not to sure that I want to drive several hours tomorrow with that sound, and worry

Since I have had my hubs installed I have not noticed a change...but thats prolly cause i still have 4 32 inch BFG At's mounted laying in the back lol

Yeah for sure I was thinking about doing that but then I realized that im not going to be able to put on the SFD untill summer or Easter break and if I wait that long then I can save up even more money and get the 16's instead of 15's and the more expensive wheels so its whatevs, besides now with smaller tires i can get more flex lol

Well I got the pathy back from the shop this morning and it was good and bad news lol. The good news, they got the new struts installed, and replaced a drivers side strut bearing for free, and also a sway bar bolt since we stripped the siht outta one when we tried to install it. But the bad news...they could not mount the BFG's due to clearance issues with the strut tower. So with that said its still on the cross terrains. But the pathy feels like a completely new vehicle, it looks and feels mucho better! Though the topping out when i first went over a bump scared the hell outta me lol. The plans are to wait until I get the SFD from Alex and once that goes on get some new wheels and 33 inch tires....but that prolly wont happen until summer Just kidding alex love u dude So here are some pics i will have some flexy pics tomorrow

With my experience with my michelin cross terrains is that they are a PITA to balance and keep them wearing uniformly, I kept up with the rotations and all, and got several alignments done, but the cupping and un-uniform wear is my turn off, Im on my second set of them as they were basically worn to siht after about 28k and the same is starting to happen to this set, even though they came with a 40k warranty costco only pro rated them so we still had to pay. But costo is good about tires as they fill them with Nitrogen which makes the tires feel alot less heavy and easier to handle and turn, but if your getting mudd tires or AT's then get regular air.

Yeah my Moms Buick Park Avenue had the same problem, and a quick machine of the rotors fixed it right up

No, I just installed my Warn Hubs the other day and you do need to use the new black threaded studs. As you can see in the first pic they are alot longer. They are longer for one reason probably because they have a bigger bolt and a washer that goes on the shaft, they do reccomend that you use Threadlock on them but i did cause I wasnt sure if they would work or not with my pathy being a All Mode, but im just going to leave them here are some pics as to how I did the install. To get them off i used on each stud 2 of the old nuts that were used to hold on the old hub, and tightened them against each other using 2 wrenches and then used a socket to go over both nuts and remove the old studs, and reverse for putting the new ones back in. Good LUCKK!!! Longer Threads Using 2 wrenches to tighten 2 old bolts against each other What it looks like afterwords There is just enough thread for the bolts

I have to agree with this, even with only half my lift done, the ride is soo much better no more bottoming out over bumps at highway speeds, and the hubs make the truck glide alot more. And as for the body lift no options for that. The only thing you can do is have a AC 2 inch suspension lift or find someone to make you a Sub Frame Drop Lift

Yeah the cross terrains are nice, though they wear fast and unevenly i have gone through 2 sets and they arent cheap either, lucky to get 40k out of them

Yeah they are 32's they should fit though, and we were using a 1/2 inch impact and that didnt do a thing, and we did really soak them in wd40 and didnt help heat even barely budged it. Another thing we had a problem with it the bolt that holds on the arm with the hex key in the end, well we didnt know that your supposed to hold that whild loosening in and as a result we stripped the siht outta it, and now most likely it will have to be cut off and replaced. Its just as if King Kong himself tightened them. And i have a appointment at 4wheel parts for them to do it. Since I have to leave for school on thursday I really have no time to work on it myself. So its going to cost around 200 bucks Im pretty pissed that just 4 bolts really are costing me that much.

Yes i did get the extended shocks they extend fully to 32 inches so its all good, And yeah fo sho no snow sucks but it was 70 degrees when we were installing the lift So what would you suggest? We tried everything

No dude you have no idea the guys im working with on this project arent exactly small guys and even they were having a hard time, Even heat didnt do shat. So ill make it some guy at a shops problem lol
