  1. unless they are an exact copy, they are original OEM nissan manual locking hubs, same ones I had on the R50 and now on the X.
  2. I actually want to change my lights to work off the fog light switch too, it will make it easier to turn off when there's oncomming traffic. I've already got mine wired to accessory switches in the centre dash, so I may wire so that the fog light switch simply powers the switches, and will esentially turn off the lights when turned off.
  3. What's the wattage of the piia's? If they're 55 watts, and you're just using the swith for the 2 of them, then you should be able to wire it up directly. If you want to hook up more lights, you can do the exact same setup, except you'll have to wire up some relays under the hood. You'll have to use the fog light harness to trigger the relay instead of directly to the lights, and then let the relay feed battery power to the lights.
  4. I was asking $5000 certified and e-tested before I pulled the wheels and tires off, now I'm just trying to give it away at $2000. [/threadjack] Back to the KMA!
  5. lol, it's still sitting in my driveway for sale! I switched to the X because (to me, no hating here! lol) it had more potential. I had all the steel cut and ready to do the subframe drop, but then switched gears mid-stride. I've stipped the R50 back down to only having the 2" lift and rear bumper, asking $2000 now for it, paying only for the bumper and lift/struts/shocks, and getting a free truck with it. I'd split it up $1000 for the truck / $1000 for the bumper if someone was really interested.
  6. The tree was just there for support......
  7. We were sitting here chatting about that, and what if you've given them free reign to use that video for whatever they want, and they turn around and use your video to prove to congress that 4 wheeling should be banned and illegal and it destroys the environment. I know that statement sounds stupid, but I've just got the "what-if" attitude when it comes to this kind of stuff. I'm not feeling very optimistic about it, I hope that I'm wrong and look forward to seeing a great pathfinder video!
  8. I was able to move the bumper around by myself, weight wise. On an install you'd need 2 guys to line everything up. As for strength, I nailed mine pretty hard on the driver side, at the bottom (you can probably see it in the pic) and it only left a little battle scar. Definatly heavy duty. Nope, still stitting in my driveway with a forsale sign in it, complete with AC 2" lift and bender built rear bumper.. know anyone looking?
  9. I hate to be the voice on the other side, but how does that saying go... If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. In this day and age, with all the scams, etc.. going on, I hope this is all legit, not something that will come back to bite people in the bum.
  10. That's the way they designed it.. Makes for a perfect place to sit on the front of the truck! I thought the same thing, I welded mine onto the frame after bolting it in place. Guaranteed no movement. It's on a different page: http://www.kenmtnac.com/WinPat9904.html
  11. Same bumper as I got, ended up transferring it over to the xterra when I bought it. I absolutly love it too, much better looking than an ARB Only 3 months wait? That's not bad at all. Hopefully KMA has sorted out their supply issues, I think mine was 4-5 months, some people have waited even longer. fleurys, here's my pics pre-install and post install on the R50 and on the X
  12. Those are the same ones I have. OEM Nissan manual hubs.
  13. Cat converter codes can be caused by a lot of things, but the main items are: 1) (obvious) cat converter is dead 2) o2 sensors not operating properly 3) fuel injector leaking 4) leaking exhust As long as you know you have no exhaust leak, use the scanner to check your o2 sensor effeciency. An o2 can be working to the point it does not trigger a code, but it might be slow, or "lazy", and R50's eat o2 sensors, so... then grab an additive from an auto parts store that specifically states for cleaning cat/converters, and have your fuel injectors flushed. see how it goes after that.
  14. IMO, a locked diff, front or rear, would not give you desirable effects in the snow. Locked diff's, lincoln locked, or other method are meant for traction where one tire has little traction, and the other wheel has lots of traction. unless one tire is on ice, and the other is on tarmac, a locked diff will not help you in snow conditions.
  15. Available for purchase at your local dealer:
  16. Ever wonder why the canadian website is www.nissan.ca but the usa site is not www.nissan.com http://www.digest.com/
  17. Bendy pants can make anything fit anything! (that's what she said)
  18. Unsure, I only get canadian information.. you may have to check with your local dealer.
  19. I had a conversation with my nissan rep. He heard about the extension the same way I did, and had no furthur information than what I already had. He's going to forward my questions and get back to me. His feeling was, that this was started as a "customer service/satisfaction" extension, so it would most likely also cover the transmission costs, but he instructed me to wait till the re-imbursement information came out, and it would have all the information we needed.
  20. I would assume yes unless I hear otherwise. Nissan's policy has always been to replace any parts that were damaged due to a warrantied part. IE: an axle seal leak damaging brake shoes, I see no difference in this case.
