I would not know the answer to that one....sorry... All I can tell you is that the spacers fits under the coils.. They sit on the coils seat... S. -

The final word on lifting the R50 at a low Cost
fleurys replied to fleurys's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
The truck in the picture is not mine. It was from a client that accepted to take pictures of the different lift examples. Spacers are just that.. They are made to lift your truck without having to change your coils if they are still good for you. You can still put spacers with new oem coils or even aftermarket coils (AC). The spacers don't affect the longevity of coil springs... S.. -
The final word on lifting the R50 at a low Cost
fleurys replied to fleurys's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Yes, this picture was taken with only the lift installed. You might need some camber bolts to align the front after the lift. The extra long rear shocks are optional if you plan on doing medium to hard off road, but are not necessary for the lift to be installed. Cheers. -

Here they are... fresh out of the cnc... Still have the bottom lip to machine, but you get the point... For those who already wrote me, thank you. I will answer you in the next coming days. Here's a few answers to some questions I got 1) the price to pay upfront will be 65 USD. Again this will be given back to you once I receive the pictures and/or the instructions to fix any problems that may be with them. Since I do not have a WD21, they were made from pictures and measurements from others. 2) The installation of them will need to be done within 30 days of getting them Thanks again and keep the requests coming.. I will choose next weekend who's the lucky guy ! ps. Dont' forget to send your infos (address, full name, email address) with your request Steve,. -

Looking for a tester - *NEW rear suspension spacers

I will soon be done with the first set of 1" HDPE rear spacers for WD21. Like my first spacers made for the R50 platform, they will be stackable on top of each other in order to create a custom height lift. I plan on making 1" and 1.5" for maximum height options. I'm looking for someone that would accept installing them on their truck in a reasonable time frame, take pictures of the installation and give feedback if the part is having fitment issues. In return, I'm willing to give a finished set of spacers to the height of the tester's choice (between 1" to 3") shipping included. In order for me to not get scammed again, I will ask the tester to PAY the test spacers up front and I will refund the total amount once I receive the pictures and feed back. Once all the problems fixed, I will send the rear lift kit of your choice free or charge. I'm looking for people in CANADA or USA. If you are interested, send me a private message with all your infos (name, address, email address, phone number) and we'll go from there. Here's you chance to contribute in the birth of a new WD21 product Cheers. S. -
I took the ones I bought at autopartsway.ca and changed the boots. New nissan ones are not worth the $$ they ask... I have a project going on to build a superstrong half-shaft based on the pro4 race trucks... but that's another story... Also, the procedure of changing the boot is not as messy as kyle is saying... just be prepared with a bucket of paint thinner and a roll of shop rags... take your time and it will be fine.. S.
-
First, buy them here : http://www.autopartsway.ca/partlist.cfm?Nissan/2000/Pathfinder/SE/3.3L_V6/allB/Driveline_and_Axles/CV_Components/CV_Axle_Shaft/ Shipping will be free and it's cheaper than your options... then you will be faced with the same question in a few months or years depending on how much offroad you do... My boots are still looking like new after many, many years now of offroading and harsh weather... If you need a permanent solution (or lat least a very long one), buy your new half shafts and invest in a set of thermoplastics boots and be done with it... look here : http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/26677-rockford-thermoplastic-cv-boot/ If you think about it, you buy a 100$ part really because a 11$ part failed on it.... So for me it's a no brainer.. when I broke an axle last summer, I bought a new one and changed the boots right away.. no more problems..

We have unfinished business together and he's not answering emails nor PMs.... last login is a month ago... It's a small amount but it is still mine... I would appreciate getting some news... S.

2 different bottom intake manifolds. Need opinions, *pic*
fleurys replied to Canadian's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I recall that only the auto trans had the butterfly intake... Your replacement engine must be coming from a manual trans equipped truck... -
if it works for you go for it.... I must say, i`m jealous of this engine... We have one with us with our 4x4 group... the sound coming from this is second to none !.... don`t forget to post some pics... Ho yeah....don`t hydrolock this one too

new struts have vibration in it please help
fleurys replied to tylercorrie's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
No chance of rust damage in the shock tower ? There has been a recall for that and the symptoms do look like yours... Check if the steering linkage does not touch the inner portion of the shock tower... -
Pretty cool and touching story... These pathfinders..... it seems we just can't let them go without a fight.... good for you ! S.

Exactly the same and change 'mud' for 'water crossing' to this too

if it was less in winter than I feel it has to be something in oil (which is noticeably thicker when cold) ... So I would check the end play of the pinion bearing ... or input or output shaft bearing of the transfer case... Good luck..

Welcome and have a look here for my spacers. http://www.4x4design.com/r50-lift-kit.php
