  1. Had the same issue...here is what I did... Pulled the front two turn signal assemblies out, and discovered that they were corroded terribly bad...they had to be replaced... Ordered some OEM ones, and problem solved... Look into it, more than likely it is in the assembly...an easy swap, and you can even get clear ones from ebay for 18 bucks...
  2. Dhardison...love the story about the caprice...brings back memories...
  3. My1path I agree...my angle is wicked and not too road friendly... Wonder if the HooHaa would help that any...!? Thought about fabbing a different steering setup, and give it a T&E, then if it works, post it up for others...kinda scary on a DD though...
  4. How do you like the Calmini HD steering? Worth it? Thinking about the HooHaa myself, as it is about a 1/4 the cost...Get some pics of your rig up bro!

  5. Not too far from me, we should wheel some time.

  6. The little hook that is leaning/curved left on the lower control arm...and the nipple on the spindle right above the lower ball joint (not literally, just in the picture)...that is the points you should throw some grease on...nasty metal to metal sound when contact is made...
  7. The wood block is a good idea...I should have thought of that!! Dang. Although mine had 235 radial tires on it when I moved it...looked like a Mexicans dream machine for hydraulics...(no racial slur intended)
  8. You can do it!!! I did it in my 95 on just the bumpstops...it was ROUGH but it worked...(I drove it on asphalt for about 75 yards...) tires rubbed like crap though!
  9. Man if I still lived on the WC, we would get together and jam!

  10. Pezzy to the rescue. I want some too!
  11. I guess I should reiterate... I took one of the factory bolts in to the Fastenal, and they measurued it and said it was an M16 metric bolt. I asked for a 60mm length and they said okay. $4.70 a bolt special order. They come in, I take them to my alignment guy...he calls me an hour later and says "Dude who sold you these bolts, they are waaay to big." I wanted to line up some iron sights... anyway...help?
  12. My1path, quick question...My bolts came in, and they were way to big...any idea what size the factory are? I know they metric, but M16 is too big, M14 maybe? Frustrating as crap, the Fastenal guys are idiots and wont take back special order items. WTF.
  13. Right on man. Glad you got it running right...and driving right!!
  14. Word. Go get em man.

  15. Hell I 'd be scared to get above 70 in my truck now...with the lift and tires, dang man...its top heavy as crap!
  16. Yea, one of these days I will take out the accordion as well. Just hadn't had time I guess...too much going on...I like the look of that filter, but does it not restrict air flow? Is that not the point of using a spherical cone filter?
  17. Mine literally dances all over the place. Drives me nuts, but am not going to spend a chunk of change to get a rebuilt cluster either.
  18. In theory any adjustment to the front end OTHER than factory spec's will accelerate wear on the components. However if you use aftermarket UCA's that correct ball joint angles, and don't crank too much, the wear is reduced but still going to happen...
  19. Is there a thread with info and pictures of this installed? I have seen the IA replace thread, but nothing on the HOOHAA or even the LP upgrade...Just trying to understand how it works over stock...I realize it has bearings and is beefier...etc
  20. LMAO!! Trying to be like you brother...just gotta find an ARB bumper...(unfortunately they are no longer made, and nobody wants to offload...) Again, thanks for the hook up and all the info you have provided. Helped out a ton. Off to grassroots... Same as HOOHAA?
  21. Yep, My1path is on the money. When I begin the fab process of the front bumper, I will more than likely have to replace my t bars to deal with the sag.
  22. Yep...I just ordered some longer metric bolts to take care of business...
  23. Wow, they really do come out with new stuff every day. I have seen the C02 units that spray directly onto the intercooler of turbo charged vics to cool the air charge, but that is a different (but not) concept... Neat.
