  1. lol.. i already said i haven't had a chance to pull the darn codes. the light is on, just for other reasons. MAF.. hmmmm.. maybe.. last tim i checked it it was sparkling.. that wasn't all too long ago either.. i will though, tonight. this just happened all of a sudden as the truck ran like a champ the day before. thanks you two jokers.
  2. just looking for some ideas. the truck ran great this weekend and then all of a sudden yesterday it started to run rough. it feels like it may be missing or something.. i get this kind of "tick" like feeling.. my dash light has been on for other reasons and i haven't checked to see if the ECU has anything to to say about this. like i said, just looking for some ideas on what this may be caused by. i haven't done anything in the most recent past on the truck.. thanks
  3. lol. and i only pressed 'add reply once' hmmm. but i did get my point accross, no? lol fixed. i'll edit your and k9's posts later sometime.
  4. are you sure? neither of mine ever worked with the hatch. i routinely open the hatch w/o ever putting the key in or using my remote. hmm
  5. i don't see that the lever would be any better.. you're not really supposed to open when HOT anyway. just take whichever one strikes your fancy and be done with it. to me the levered one is just another mechanism that can fail but i don't think that's likely to happen anytime soon anyway.
  6. whatever says on the old one.. you better match that. if not on the cap it may say on one of the few tags on the truck or in the manual
  7. i haven't had those issues but because the fogs are more exposed they can get busted and the connections rust wuite bad if you're in the northern regions.
  8. first of all you may want to look around the forums.. this very subject has been btw. your links are deadish
  9. search; it's been written about already.
  10. doesn't seem to be the case on Nissans. mine does pretty well but it still likes to be burped none the less.
  11. it may be hard to find but one of the other kits works (that's mentioned in at least one thread about BLs).. some will chime in with more detail hopefully unless you find it first. good luck.
  12. x4.. i have one of the old ones as my spare now.
  13. check the codes man.. that will make sense and we'll go from there.. it could be many things.
  14. yea what 88 said.. fairly easy on the first two.. the AC.. depends what's wrong with it.. may have to have it tasted to see if it's got any leaks.. this part is somewhat expensive as AC shops aren't cheap. i'd guesstimate at least $200.
  15. yup 2.. do the O2 and see if that fixed it all.. bad knock sensor would make it run like crap also.
  16. hello. there is plenty to do in IN.. there are plenty of places even a moded pathfinder would have troubles... you obviously never got out and about.
  17. check the codes... look in the garage for the procedure how to do that.
  18. hmmm .. i still wonder why that is as the locker shouldn't be much bigger (if at all) then the lsd. i know that on Xterras the locker just replaces the LSD. hmm it's exactly the same size and everything.. it's a direct swap.
  19. that's all it does... aerodynamics don't come into play at the speeds outr trucks go.. well, tiny bit maybe. lol
  20. on nissans that's fine to do.. i think it's mainly Ford that has the "stretch" bolts. (one time use)
  21. you obviously didn't really read a related threads on this forum then. is your's manual? it kind of seem like it may be but you weren't specific. gl-4 only is the deal with it.. you also need a Liter more then spcified in the owner's manuals and others. diff and tc can take same oil, not sure about the weight.. i'm thinking a little thinner then 80/90 but that should work too.. may be not the best thing for CO winters though... if you have auto trans then use atf if you wish although i think the OM back then said to use gear oil. i switched mine from atf to gl w/o adverse effects.
  22. removing busted bolts can be a total PITA
