  1. yeah the A rod stabilizer keeps the wheel from coming back.. probably related to the cracked frame. that's all kind of bad news. weld the frame get new rods, drive!!!
  2. the best place to buy any CB stuff is Flying-J truck stops. cheap and they have about everything CB under the sun there.
  3. lol.. you guys kill me. lmao.... i see a thread started by none other then v6, and the title rather unreaviling... could be anything... and it's locked.! quit giving me heart attacks. sheesh. :D
  4. yeah rx7, you really ought to give us more info next time.. i fixed some so we'll all know what year your truck is. lol and yeah, there is a switch in the ATs that won't let it start in any gear. it should start in N w/o problem though. next few times just move your shifter to N and then try it.. if it fires most of the time then that switch is the cuplrit. i said most because sometimes even in N that switch could be active. gently! move the shifter around, just little, w/o going out of N.. if it fires after you tweaked it then see 3rd sentence back. the wiring diagram clearly shows the inhibitor switch in proximity to the shifter (below the black arrow in the upper right corner) and i bet that if any of this is actually the cause then it's the switch itself and not the relay. the switch is way more prone to wearing out.
  5. ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE TO REMOVE THE MOTOR? THAT'S HELLA LOT OF WORK MAN.
  6. no click means there is an issue there.* * put it in 4xhi and drive forward some.. you should hear them click.. then back up 1m (3.3ft) and you should hear them click again.. that's unlocked for sure.
  7. could be all kinds of things. listen to slick and then come back and ask away. check the starter first as if the crank isn't turning it may be that or something is up with your trq converter. you're gonna have to do some major digging.
  8. still could be the diff or tc. make sure your hubs do unlock indeed.
  9. what simon said. also, are you sure the tranny is whinning? not one of the diffs or the tc?
  10. you ran a cable and there is code for speed sensor? hmm.... if one half is spinning and the other too then i am guessing the CONNECTION must not be connecting.
  11. mine are way ovegreased and they work wonderfully.
  12. add more then 2.4L and read that bulletin again. the explentation to your question is in it.
  13. you don't want to have to redo this in a short time do you? get a different muffler or some cards/feathers in your spokes, man.
  14. some day you may experience the genius of this button.
  15. yeah, the 4x4 shifter needs to be in 2h for normal driving, 4hi for somewhat bad traction and 4lo for very, very bad traction ONLY! when in N then you get 0 power to the wheels. winding noise from where?
  16. it'd be worth checking and cleaning as it's a 5 min job.
  17. IT COULD ALSO BE EITHER CRANK OR CAM POSITIONING SENSORS. RUN THE CODES AND SEE IF ANYTHING POPS OUT.
  18. one other thing.. did you put the fuel filter in the correct way.. as in flow arrow pointing the same as before?
