  1. Mobil1 and there is no filter in the world that can last 15k. whatever you do, do not go with 20w50 unless that's specifically written in your OM.
  2. 700 lol.. check that again. install and all the necessary parts will abot 3x that.
  3. btw. the alarm is totally operable without the keyfob.
  4. you can get longer ones but you'd have to do some trimming. ford and jeep both make lift springs for the models we use stock springs of.
  5. same thought here. how are the plugs?
  6. moab or ourey would be sweet. we do have an opportunity for an east coast gathering during nor-easter.
  7. not this year. WA is 2+ days behind the wheel and i really don't have enough vacation time to drive that much. with gas well over $3/gal this would probably max out my credit too.
  8. this is really an non issue if you live in a flat state/area. it's really only an issue if you have some many extended climbs . you can squeeze at least a L in there, through the fill hole, if you lift the driver's side of the truck as much as possible. personally i wouldn't mix manual tranny fluids in these trannies. oil is rather cheap compared to a new box.
  9. yeah. i just used regular used motor oil in a garden sprayer on my f-150 and the frame looked good for years.
  10. yeah.. that's miss labeled. those are engine oil weights. and yeah dextron in the tc unless it's an older one (2dr) or you switched like i did.
  11. seems they don't want your money. find another place that will be more then glad to provide the service. what does the rare of the frame have to do with front end allignement?
  12. well, it could be what acey said or bearings or something.. you'll have to take some things apart and inspect.
  13. well, the dumb spending can be nipped in the bud if you actually would chase down the problem first instead of throwing $ at it.. good luck though and please update us with your solution.
  14. look in that Haynes book again because i guaranteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you that it did not say w30.
  15. in the pic it looks like your pieces aren't exactly in the same plane.
  16. looks to me like someone ought to make a jig for the CL before trying to weld it back together.
  17. yeah, nothing has changed.. wait a day or two and the other site will be back.
