  1. that's what they all have.. may want to look again.. i dunno if the other threads talk about it in detail but it has to be there.
  2. search around the forums as this was a topic not too long ago. i don't remember what the solution was. in your case it's the it is the blower motor but i am thinking it's a resistor not a relay.
  3. if your foot is hot then check for missing heat shield on the exhaust.. too much heat has started a fire or two before.
  4. lol. but you're learning.. look at the pictures in the manual.. read about the different systems on a vehicle.. like you did the definition.
  5. if you have excessive heat from the hand brake area, you may want to look for tranny cooler mod here in these forums.
  6. ^^^ that seems most sensible.
  7. right but the blown gasket will show up more then the piston not getting to the top like it's supposed to.
  8. valve slap? from that vid your guess is probably better then ours.
  9. the compression was low not because of depressed piston but because of the blown gasket. just because it looks fine doesn't mean it is. if a girl on here can do it, why can't you? hehe
  10. just hook the garden hose to the HC in reverse order.. i wouldn't hook it to the motor.. you don't want all that calcium and other junk in the block. also, maybe put a piece of cardboard in front of the rad.. if the temp does increase then your t-stat is probably malfuctioning.
  11. go with gg or alk.. you can try to flush out the heater core with lot's of water before you attempt changin it out.. which it's a real pita.
  12. the wires to the hitch would be my first guess but maybe that's not it.. check each taillight and license plate bulb connections as those are most exposed to the elements. the light switch is a probability as those are known to fry out here and there.
  13. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_test_an_ignition_coil
  14. find the zip code for NY where your friend is going to be staying.
  15. any and all auto parts carry them. about $70 for both window lifters.. maybe more a little more for the door ones.. i can't recall exact price but maybe $90 or something.. they weren't all that much more.
  16. please use the search function. thanks.
  17. you may want to search around these forums as all that info is here.. look in year specific are too.
  18. if your tranny is auto you may want to do the cooler mod, quickly.
  19. personal opinion: yes but if you already have any leaks then NO. look around for a couple of threads that deal with synth oil.. one very recent.
