  1. could be the temo sensor too.. start with the basics and see if anything improves.
  2. then go with the newst installment of the ATF fluid. ATF 4?
  3. 1. i normally flush the engine with water a couple of times first so, no. 2. diffs the gear oil.. tranny.. what you got? t-c.. what's in it now? atf or gl? 3. definitely undo the fill holes on the diffs and t-c first before draining. 4. can you multitask? how good are you? how many pans do you have? lol 1h-2h? 5. most if not all auto part stores recycle oils.
  4. could be just from sitting for a while all the way through bad rings.. take a pick. tuneup is good, filters, fluids.. check codes and see if anything pops up... the CEL maybe busted. then let us know if it's running any better.
  5. so double that for anything below "skilled mechanic" i was finally able to look at your picks.. i'd gues it's a leaker as there is just too much oil everywhere.. the only place that could dump some oil is the filter and one would have to dump it and leave it there for 10-15sec before it would dump that much oil.. also the oil seems to be all way across.. check valve covers and then around the lower part of the water pump housing.. if wet at latter then you can bet it's the cam seals.
  6. and what, we're not good enough for that?
  7. there could be dsom many different scenarios it's hard to just guess thus the mech's comment.. start with the simple stuff.. tune up time.
  8. technology isn't all that is it.. i have the old school antenna and i have no issues. :D the windows do freeze sometimes and i just run heat on high and defrost.. the motors seems really slow in the cold though. i've never really have issues with the doors but the fuel window... many times.
  9. ding, ding, ding.. synthetic is good stuff and if you can, change to it.. my truck tuns way smoother then it did on dynoil. also synth has more of a "magnitic personality" and tends to attach itself to areas where dyno would drain out of when the engine isn't running. so at start up you actually have some lube before the pressure kick the rest of the oil around. hehe.. but 5/20; 2/10; 8+/10; also there are other seals on an engine..
  10. HECK, THAT'S ALMOST AS SEXY AS THE BRAIDS ONE. :P:D

  11. YOU JUST MAY WANT TO BLOCK SOME AIR FLOW THROUGH THE RADIATOR.. THAT WAY YOUR TK WILL WARM UP WAY FASTER. I USE CARBOARD BOXES FOR THAT PURPOSE.. ALMOST ANY BEER CARTON WILL FIT IN BETWEEN THE AC AND HEAT RADIATORS.
  12. THERE IS ALSO A SUPPLEMENTAL FOR THE 94 AND 95 TRUCKS.. AND THERE IS A 95 ADDENDUM TO THE ORIGINAL 94 MANUAL. THERE IS ALSO A QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE FOR '94.
  13. great thanks for the update.
  14. love thy braids. mmm :D

  15. actually the end that inserts into the 'window assembly". the mechanical connection. i think the electrical was the same.. it's been many moons ago since i messed with one of these..
  16. what simon said.. sometimes it will not trigger the light.. also, the light could be burnt.
  17. do the t-belt change asap, if your records don't reflect a recent work in that area.
  18. i think it did in my case.. i'd have to go through the records to find out for sure but iirc O2 sensor was never replaced prior me getting my paws on this truck.
  19. 22mm open ended wrench. mine was a pita.. it was spot welded.. i ended up destroying it to get it out.
