  1. if yoiu take the rotors off then you need to get new seals as once they've been moveed they will not seal well. the new seals are ~$5 ea. if you've driven in wet or sandy areas or have 100k mi then you definitely shoudl repack your bearings too. grease all the grease fittings while you're there too.

  10. well, at least shoot some lube intoi the lock.. best do inside too but that's a little more involved. use whatever you feel comfortable with. i use what ever i have around. i do it 2x a year or whenever the locks start acting up a little.. winter salt tends to give them hell.
  11. cold air, what unc said.. there is a fair amount of air coming through that vent though. the lock, definitely lube it.. that's it's issue. same thought as unc on the hinge.
  12. except that those could have the same issues he has now.

  14. that's exactly what i deal with every single time i go anywhere with almost anyone.. even the Xs as they are on 32"s.. then when i show them up, it's more trouble. hehehe
  15. yeah, check the sway bar first, then the panhard and the other arms there and then the frame. good luck.. 8in is a whole bunch.. hope it's not the worse case scenario.
