  1. vengeful, it works but it's too large so i will not repost it..
  2. does My Assistant work for everybody? it's not working for me.. any clue?
  3. i paid around $40 for one of those.. from http://www.intlpartsstore.com/ but they have a store in town..
  4. it's weard because there are many stations with the cheap stuff at 2.25 or so all over town but $2 near the main spigot..
  5. lol.. not complaining 4 sure.. O2 is good.. about the same kind of driving on both tanks.. the foot has dropped some weight and is more like feather weight nowadays... but, the thing is that the milage has been increasing with last few tankfulls.. it's kind of weard is all i am saying..
  6. Thats an obscure reference to the mentality some sculpters (sp) and carvers have. The shape is already inside the raw material, they just have to set it free. Sorry about the confusion... B :cool2: i liked that..
  7. i am gonna go on a limb and say original? or freaking close to it.. waiting to 110k for bunch of maint... might just dump the glycol and refill with good H2o for the rest of the summer.. a buddy of mine offered to drain and refill me on the ac juice... wondering if that stuff has to come off for the t-belt.. this is gonna be a b#$%^^!
  8. this is just plain weard... i just filled up and i got 247mi out of 16.5 gals. and that was using the ac at least 90% of the time... last fill up was 19.6 gal and i got the same distance.. wtf?
  9. yeah, no window on my truck.. (r-134a) i am gonna hose it down tomorrow and see if that helps... it is a bit muddy but not bad at all.. no buttload here.. when i idle the air coming out of the vents warms up untill it feels almost like outside air... my coolant temp spikes then too but not redline... when moving the air is cold.
  10. smokin da rock, eh? lol.. ask a firefighter if they could give you one of their old fire proof blankets....
  11. my 94 calls for T-belt change at 110k mi... the 89 that i had called for 60k intervals but after doing the change 2x (both times the belts looked almost brand new) and knowing how engineers work i'd feel comfortable with 100k on one of those.. the only ones i have heard breaking were all near or above 200k... which is exactly what i figured the engineers came up with.. do the O2 sensor when recommended.. you get crappy mpg if you don't. shop around for those.. i paid somewhere around $40 (stock plug too.) cheap. bearings, hub locks, brakes, hoses ,belts, and all the fluids need attention.. if you have AT then look into external cooler mod. search the garage and stickies. in one word YES.
  12. it's probably something minute.. drink up it will come to you
  13. kind of sounds like it maybe the door itself.. hard to tell from a far. it could also be the tracks... they may have a slight bend from the roll.. before you attached it did you slide it up and down manually? that may give you a hint where it's binding.. is the channel in the door crimpt kind of tight where you said it was damaged?
  14. do you have to push on the glass to get it to track? is it on the up or down? i am wondering if the motor has stops.. i forgot to look but the door is still open so i'll try to here in a bit.
  15. well, darn.. maybe we all ought to put that in our sigs then. hmmm?
  16. or download spell checker for your browser here is stuff for ff. http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/download http://dictionaries.mozdev.org/installation.html
  17. i sure hope so.. have asked mrjim before.
  18. 45 inutes later it's down another 20c... yaaay!
  19. jj, is your truck on r12 or r134a refrigerant?
  20. my ac seems to work pretty good overall but when i sit and idle for a bit it sure gets hot in there.. my truck is black so maybe it just can't keep up.. temps in high 90s and high hum. (70s<).... just kind of wondering if anybody has noticed their truck doing this too... or do i need to look into it? thanks
  21. oh, i filled up one of my cars for 2.03$/gal... but i see it anywhere from 2.15 to 2.30.. in chicago this weekend , 2.55 was the cheapest... and it was windy too.. hahaha
